Enjoy a fabulous summer retreat at this detached family farmhouse. Relax in the hot tub, connect your music to the Bluetooth speaker and let the BBQ sizzle as the day unfolds. Enjoy treetop adventures at Dalby with Go Ape sky-high platforms and zip wires, or stand-up paddleboarding at the nearby water park. Bring your mountain bike and head to Dalby, just a few minutes ride away with routes for all abilities. Talk late, wake slowly and enjoy great company, good music & true countryside calm.

The space
This fabulous farmhouse stay allows you to reconnect with nature while still being well placed for days out and local attractions. You’re close enough to enjoy the charm, shops and eateries of nearby coastal towns, as well as Dalby Forest, home to Go Ape and a wide range of outdoor activities. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is also within easy reach and is always a highlight for visitors of all ages.

The farmhouse itself has been in the same family for over 120 years and sits within a working rural landscape of mixed arable land and livestock, something children especially love, from watching tractors at work to spotting farm animals going about their day.

The Living Spaces
The farmhouse opens into a large, welcoming lounge, filled with natural light and designed for relaxed family living. There’s ample room for everyone to gather comfortably, whether you’re enjoying the warmth of the fire or unwinding after a day outdoors.
At the far end of the lounge, a cosy snug provides the perfect spot for family board games, quieter conversations, or simply a change of pace from the main seating area.

The Kitchen & Dining Room
The spacious farmhouse kitchen blends traditional character with modern convenience. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob alongside the more traditional classic Aga providing flexibility for everything from slow, comforting meals to quick, practical cooking.
A generous dining table makes an easy and sociable space for shared meals, long breakfasts, or planning the next day’s adventures.

The Bedrooms
All bedrooms are light, spacious and comfortably proportioned, making them well suited to longer stays. Each room enjoys open countryside views, offering a genuine sense of peace and space from every window.
The atmosphere throughout is calm and uncluttered, designed for relaxation and ideal for a proper night’s sleep.

Bathrooms
Bathrooms are bright, practical and well laid out, easily accommodating families and groups.

The Laundry Room
While nobody plans on doing laundry while on holiday, the large, well-equipped laundry room is a real bonus for longer stays and larger families. It’s ideal for keeping on top of everyday washing and particularly useful for swimwear and towels after time spent in the hot tub.

MTB
High Park offers secure on-site bike storage, a dedicated wash-off area, and parking for up to eight vehicles—ideal for groups of friends arriving with bikes in tow. Whether you’re planning a weekend of challenging trails or relaxed rides through the forest, everything is set up to make your stay easy, comfortable, and perfectly suited to mountain biking adventures. (Please note that we do not provide bikes).

The Garden & Outdoor Space
The garden opens out onto wide, open countryside, creating a wonderful sense of freedom and space. A hot tub provides the perfect place to relax at the end of the day, whether you’re soaking in the afternoon sun or enjoying a quieter evening under the stars.

Family Fun & Games
Keep the whole family entertained during your stay at High Park Farm with our extensive collection of indoor and outdoor games. The cupboard is packed with classic board games, puzzles, and books. For outside fun you'll find a cricket set, rounders bat, giant Jenga, and giant noughts and crosses — perfect for sunny afternoons in the garden or lively evenings on the lawn. Rain or shine, there's always something fun to enjoy together!

Dog-Friendly Extras
The farmhouse is thoughtfully set up for guests travelling with dogs. In addition to a warm, dry internal dog space, there is also a separate barn outside which is ideal if dogs need a larger, secure area while the family pops out for tea or an outing.
The front garden is enclosed by a traditional stone wall and for additional peace of mind, the rear yard is fully enclosed, providing a safe and secure outdoor space.
We may accept more dogs by request.

Guest access
The whole house is yours during your stay!

Other things to note
The property is located on working farmland. While it is a standalone home offering privacy and space, you may occasionally hear typical countryside and farm sounds, including tractors, livestock and early morning activity during busier seasons.

The property is accessed via country lanes. Please drive with care and be mindful of wildlife such as deer and hares, as well as farm vehicles.
