Escape the ordinary and stay on our cozy, fully equipped houseboat in the peaceful harbour of Stavenisse, Zeeland. Wake up to gentle movement and sounds of the water, enjoy slow mornings with coffee on deck, and end your day with sunset drinks and beautiful colours over the water. Our houseboat is perfect for couples, solo travellers or small groups looking for a unique stay. With a kitchenette on board and the beach and water activities nearby, everything is set for a memorable floating escape.

The space
Imagine being gently rocked to sleep by the rhythm of the water 🌊, the soft sound of small waves against the hull, and wide Zeeland skies above you. This is the feeling of truly escaping the everyday. Our cozy, Ibiza-style houseboat is moored in the picturesque harbour of Stavenisse, Zeeland ⚓. You’ll have the entire boat to yourselves - your own private tiny house on the water, and a stay that’s anything but ordinary. A small beach is just a short walk from the harbour, perfect for a swim, a sunset stroll 🌅, or a slow afternoon by the sea.

Welcome on board 🤍. Our houseboat is a charming holiday retreat, thoughtfully decorated in a relaxed, beachy style and designed for comfort and atmosphere. It accommodates up to three guests and is especially loved by couples, solo travellers and small groups looking for a unique experience. Expect tranquillity, beautiful harbour views, starry nights ✨ and glowing sunsets - sleeping on the water really is something special.

As you step aboard, you enter a lovely covered outdoor deck with a comfortable seating area. This is often guests’ favourite spot. The sides are open, so you can soak up the sun ☀️, watch the boats come and go and enjoy the fresh sea air. When the weather is less favourable, the space can be fully enclosed, allowing you to keep enjoying this area in comfort. It’s the perfect place for slow breakfasts ☕, long conversations, and sunset drinks on deck 🍷 as the sky changes colour.

A few steps down at the rear of the boat, you’ll find a cosy enclosed cabin with two single beds, one on each side of the boat. Each bed is 1.90m long and slightly narrower than a standard single bed, as is typical on boats. There is also storage space here for your clothes and bags.

From the deck, a few steps down toward the front of the boat brings you into the bright living space, with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchenette 🍳. Here you’ll find an induction hob, a sink with cold water, a small fridge with freezer compartment, a coffee machine, a kettle, and all the crockery, cutlery, glasses and pans you need to prepare simple meals, relaxed breakfasts and evening snacks.

Beyond this space, in the bow of the boat, is the main sleeping area. Here you’ll find a cosy, triangular small double bed that can sleep one or two people. The bed measures approximately 1.85m diagonally. Because of its triangular shape and compact size, this is not a regular double bed, but a typical and surprisingly snug boat bed 🛏️.

For entertainment, there is a smart TV, a Bluetooth speaker 🔊, WiFi, and a small selection of books and games 📚. The harbour WiFi signal can occasionally be unstable, but many guests find the greatest pleasure is simply watching the water, the birds 🐦, and the changing skies.

The boat does not have a full bathroom on board 🚿. Clean and well-maintained harbour toilets and showers are available a short walk from the boat. Please also note that, due to steps and narrow passages, the boat is not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties, and may be less comfortable for very tall guests.

If you are looking for a peaceful, characterful and truly different place to stay, we would love to welcome you aboard our floating escape in Zeeland 🤍⚓.

Guest access
Our houseboat does not have a bathroom or toilet on board 🚿. Instead, guests use the harbour’s shared sanitary facilities, which are clean, well maintained and located just a short two-minute walk away along the jetty. Here you’ll find toilets and comfortable hot showers (currently €0.50 per shower).

The sanitary building is open from 1 April to 31 October 📅, which is also the period during which we welcome guests on the boat.

You can park safely and free of charge in the harbour car park 🚗, conveniently close to the boat, making arrival and departure easy and stress-free ✨.

Other things to note
Staying on a houseboat is a cosy and memorable experience, quite different from staying in an apartment or cottage - it’s a little like camping on the water ⚓🌊, with all the charm that comes with it. Spaces are compact and there are steps and narrow passages, so the boat may be less comfortable for very tall guests and is not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.

The boat is offered exclusively as a unique place to stay and is not available for sailing or cruising 🚫⛵. If you’d like to explore the water, however, small boats can be hired directly from the harbour. They’re perfect for a relaxed day out - and if you’re lucky, you might even spot a few seals 🦭✨.

Fun fact: We're from Namibia and Poland
We're Artur and Etienne, from Poland and Namibia, but now settled in Netherlands. Not in the picture is Picasso, our miniature dachshund! We work a lot, but enjoy spending our free time travelling, in the garden, or just enjoying a beer and BBQ on the terrace. We split my time between here and Croatia. We love meeting people during our travels and hearing all about their lives and experiences. Who knows, maybe our paths will cross...
