You’ll have space to relax and unwind but the fantastic walking and cycling opportunities from the door should entice you to explore this beautiful and varied corner of France.
The bedroom has air-conditioning, a king-sized bed, ensuite shower-room, and built-in wardrobes.
The luxurious kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, oven/grill, microwave, dish-washer, and granite work-surfaces.
In the garden you can relax by the pool, use your own BBQ, and on hot days shelter in the dappled shade under a tree. Pool towels are provided.
It’s just five minutes’ drive to a superb supermarket in Montayral, or you can walk half an hour to the village centre which includes a boulangerie, butcher, tabac, and restaurant.
Despite the proximity to ample commerce, Jasmin Cottage is on a quiet and beautiful hillside, surrounded by unspoilt meadows, woodland, and orchards (plum and walnut.)
Montayral nestles next to the river Lot, so the area is surrounded by Cahors vineyards with tasting and dining opportunities.
Why "Jasmin Cottage"?
The garden boasts all kinds of roses, blooms, and shrubs, but the scent from the Jasmin in summer is intoxicating. The birdsong is extraordinary including nightingales by night in the spring.
The pool is generally open May to late October. Jasmin Cottage has central heating so is open all year.o
Guest access
Jasmin Cottage is a one bedroom annex with its own front door attached to the owners' residence. You have complete privacy in the cottage. You have your own parking space for one car. You have your own patio area and sun-loungers.
The garden and pool area are shared peacefully with the two owners.
Other things to note
Jasmin Cottage is suited to couples. No children. Guests can bring one small dog, so long as it’s sociable with ours. Sorry, no other pets allowed.
Due to the upstairs bedroom and steep stairs, and steps from the parking area up to the garden, we regret that this property is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility. No
