In spring and autumn, the area is famous for salmon and sea trout fishing. Opposite the house there is 2 km of fishing water with pools and ponds (license needed).
All year round it is a beautiful nature retreat or romantic getaway. Hiking trails such as Blekingeleden and Laxaleden are nearby, as well as seasonal mushroom, blueberry and raspberry picking.
