Chalet Lingayoni is an exquisite chalet located in an authentic small village in Oz-en-Oisans, a stone's throw from the ski station in the heart of the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski. The perfect place to relax after a day of skiing, cycling or hiking. The Loft is the cherry on the cake! On top of the chalet, 120 m2 of luminous, luxurious, and well furnished apartment space.

The space
The Loft's split level setup makes it even more playful and efficient. A big sliding window provides access to a private and covered balcony with magnificent views of the valley where you can enjoy the sunset. It has 4 bedrooms, plus a mezzanine with a double bed. There is one big bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. One bedroom has a private wash basin and shower. There is a separate toilet. The kitchen is well equipped with a Smeg 6-burner gas stove and large electric oven, extra microwave, Smeg dish washer and big fridge. A large dining table inside and outside challenges your cooking skills.

The Loft provides accommodation for up to 10 guests. We have 3 more apartments available in the chalet, for groups of 4, 5 and 8 guests. You'll find them in our other ads. It's even possible to rent the entire chalet, which can accommodate up to 27 guests. It is also possible to connect the apartments for 4, 5 or 8 guests with the connecting doors.

Neighbourhood highlights

The chalet is situated in the small village of Le Bessey, just 100 meters underneath the ski station Oz-en-Oisans, l’Olmet, Oz (3-4 minute drive). This ski station is part of Alpe d’Huez - Grand Domaine. Hiking trails cross the village and give ample opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings. Walk up to the station, visit the spectacular waterfall or hike down to Oz Village or the Lac du Verney.

For cycling, this area needs no introduction. Col de la Croix de Fer, Col de la Madeleine, Col du Glandon, Col du Galibier, Col du Télégraphe, Col du Lautaret, and of course the famous climb to Alpe d 'Huez. Special events during the year are La Marmotte, a cyclo-sportive-tour of 174 kilometres and 5000 altimetres, a triathlon, the Tour de France and, for the mountain bikers, one of the most famous downhill marathon races, the Megavalanche.

The Alpe d'Huez ski resort has about 250 km of slopes, ranging from green to black. The Pic Blanc has an altitude of 3330 meters. From here you can ski the longest slope of Europe, over 2 kilometres of altitude difference without a single stop. All facilities like ski schools, restaurants and bars, a supermarket, swimming pool and during the season even a small skating rink are around the corner. For snowboarders there is a snowboard park.
