No18@Sanico, a recently completed barn conversion, was finished in January 2021. Nestled amidst the picturesque rolling hills of the Monferrato Countryside, it offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains . The property provides ample parking for three cars and a spacious, secure garden. It also features a panoramic swimming pool, an outdoor dining area, and relaxing zones.

What truly sets No18 apart is the ever-changing landscape, the serene and tranquil ambiance, and the stunning views.

The space
We designed the barn to feel light and airy but also cosy in the winter months. There is highly efficient central heating and also the warming ambience of the log burner. Down stairs is a social open plan space to enjoy. The antique carpenter's bench takes centre stage in the very well equipped kitchen . There is also a bathroom with shower on the ground floor. Upstairs there are 3 good sized bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms including a master suite with a dressing area and en-suite.

Outside there is a large terrace with lighting, dining table and chairs for those long summer evenings. There is also a relaxing corner under the pergola. A perfect spot to find some shade or watch the sunset.

Steps take you down in to the garden which is mainly laid to lawn. Here you’ll find a patio large enough for 8 sun loungers. From here it’s a few steps to the 9x4 metre in ground saltwater swimming pool with the most panoramic views.

B2E - There is a dedicated workspace and desk with chair for those mixing business with pleasure, fast wifi (up to 90mbps) and secure network connection throughout the villa ensures you work efficiently - workspace with desk can be set up in any room of the house. There is a dedicated LAN cable in the dining room area.

There is electric car charging station @ 200m away from the house.

Guest access
You can walk to the local bar and newsagent in about 30 minutes but a car is recommended, parking is plentiful and there is no traffic to speak of. Shops are a 20 minute drive for supermarkets and restaurants can also be reached in 20 minutes by car. The closest restaurants are a 10 minute drive away and there is a choice of high quality and trattoria style.

Other things to note
As we are a "Locazione Turistica" we are required to have a short term rental contract for each stay. We will provide this to you prior to your arrival or on arrival. It essentially details the dates of your stay and the fact it is a short term (less than 30 days) rental. This is a legal requirement.

The beauty of staying @No.18 is the feeling of being immersed in the peaceful nature of the countryside. The mountains, vineyards and tapestry of crops makes for a stunning backdrop.

There are some great country walks right from the front door. Also road/mountain or E-biking trails to lose yourself on. E bikes are available to hire locally.

In the village there is a small shop for bread and essentials a pharmacy and a lovely welcoming cafe which is the hub of the village.

And we have a winery within walking distance and vineyards and within 10 minutes driving there are many more to choose from for your wine tasting and buying.
