Welcome to The Annex @ Sanbara, located in the heart of the picturesque village of Merstone on the Isle of Wight. Sleeping up to 4 guests, this beautifully designed property offers a peaceful, rural retreat surrounded by scenic walking and biking trails.

The thoughtfully curated interiors create a cosy, welcoming atmosphere, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. We are delighted to say that the property is fully wheelchair accessible and pet friendly

The space
Upon entering the property, guests will discover a a light filled living and dining space which benefits from views out to the garden and the paddocks beyond.

From here there is small but perfectly formed kitchenette comprising of a small under counter fridge, sink, air fryer and kettle. Guest must note that due to the size of the kitchenette, cooking is generally restricted to light meals and snacks.

Adjacent is a spacious and thoughtfully designed wet room comprising of an accessible sink, toilet and shower (Shower curtain also provided to ensure practicality for all guests use).

To the rear of the property is the cosy bedroom comprising of a double bed, bedsides, chest of drawers and compact built in wardrobe.

The Annex is fully accessible for guests with mobility issues thanks to the ramp access (through the rear patio doors), wider doorways, wet room and single level, step free accommodation.

From the property there are a plethora of walks and cycling routes which follow the beautiful Squirrel Trail through the centre of the islands countryside.

We do recommend that guests arrive by car in order to easily access all that the island has to offer.

Guests are welcome to use the entire Annex as well as the garden, patio and designated space on the driveway.

We kindly ask that guests refrain from entering the main house and are respectful with regards to parking arrangements in order to ensure the owners are able to access their driveway with ease.

Other things to note
We are happy to welcome well behaved pets at the property. We kindly ask that they refrain from sleeping on the bed and sofa. The property next door does have 3 dogs and horses so if your pet is nervous around other animals please be mindful of this

Please note that this property has a small kitchenette only which includes a fridge with small freezer compartment, sink, air fryer and kettle.
