Nestled in magical, remote woodland off the north-east coast of the Scottish Highlands, you wouldn’t know you were just a stone’s throw from the A9, along the NC500.
With an abundance of stunning walks and adventures right from the cabin and beyond, you can re-connect with nature, yourself & each-other.
The space
The cabin has been lovingly and thoughtfully renovated, to be both as ecologically-aware and as luxurious as possible. From the moment you arrive between the magical towering trees, along the majestic woodland track, you can take a big sigh of relief - your life is on pause, and it is time to re-focus on yourself, and your loved ones.
The cabin sits quietly among a smattering of 5 other cabins, and the spacious entrance grounds offer ample parking for 2 cars.
Binoculars and warm wool blankets provide a wonderful opportunity to bird-watch or star gaze at our dark skies right from the deck. We have a wide range of great books, excellent games and a plethora of information on places to explore, and if you need it, the dining table doubles as a great workspace overlooking the grounds.
While the picnic basket and ordinance survey map make for great days adventuring, the well-stocked log fire, warm wool blankets and well equipped kitchen make for perfect, cosy nights in. Lungs full of fresh air, minds wrapped in each-other.
With supermarkets just 6 miles away, and Inverness 27 miles away, supplies and essentials are in easy reach.

Outside:
Driveway for 2 cars, bin storage, washing line, open log store with log supply for your stay. Decking to the front of the cabin with lantern, table and chairs.
Boot Room:

Guest access
The entire cabin is available to use, aside from the locked areas (loft space and outbuildings).
Other things to note
The cabin is strictly pet-free, so please leave any animals at home.
While we provide free Wifi, being in the middle of the woods it is basic at 10mbps, and is more than sufficient for any adventure planning needed.
For our security, we do not accept third party bookings - as the booker, you must be the one who is staying.
For security reasons, only guests booked to stay are to be added to the messaging platform, as part of communication.
Please ensure that you read our house rules before you book.
In line with our fire safety policy, the accommodation is unsuitable for those with reduced mobility, or hearing impairment to the extent that the fire alarms cannot be heard. Please enquire if unsure.
