Welcome to my cabin between two beautiful valleys in the heart of the Troll Peninsula's majestic mountains, just a 12-minute drive from town Dalvík. Located on a hill, it offers stunning vistas of the surrounding peaks and glacier. Ideal for nature lovers and those craving tranquility, the cabin is fully equipped, heated and offers fast Wifi. It's perfect base for exploring the area with whale watching, horse riding, hot tubs, a beer spa, fjords, trails and restaurants just a short drive away.
The space
Cabin offers 35 square meters of living space and can accommodate 4 grown-ups. Also possible to host family of 5 with 3 kids, but booking request needs to be send beforehand.
Building is divided into a small entrance, living room with fully equipped corner kitchen, bathroom (sink+toilet), outdoor shower with hot geothermal water, bedroom with double bed and attic with sleeping place and comfy mattresses for 2 grown-ups or 3 kids.
There’s a large deck around the cabin with grill and sitting area. There's a small forest on the land, full of mushrooms during summer/autumn months, chirping birds and blueberry fields.
Kitchen : Induction hob, sink, toaster, microwave, fridge with small freezer, kettle, dishwasher
For those traveling with a toddler, baby crib is available on request, too.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the whole cabin and land. Only garden shed/storage connected to the deck remains locked.
Other things to note
There's a paved main road and then short gravel road leading to the cabin. The last 150m/500ft short hill to the cabin is a steep gravel road.
If you have 2WD vehicle, it is possible to drive up but with empty car and a good momentum. I provide further instructions in guest/arrival manual.
For unexperienced drivers there is also an option of parking below the hill. Host can then assist you to drive your luggage up to the cabin if requested prior to your arrival.

Cabin is located 13 km / 8 mi from town Dalvík, on the border of two valleys Svarfaðaldalur and Skíðadalur.
There're many hiking trails in the area, some only few minutes of drive from the cabin as well as waterfalls, mountain glacier or lakes in neighbouring valleys.
In town Dalvík, you can do grocery shopping, go whale watching or visit caffés and museums.
