Sunkeeper – Luxury Coastal Retreat with Panoramic Sea Views, nr Looe, Cornwall
Wake up to the glint of sunlight on the ocean. From the moment you step into Sunkeeper, the south-westerly panorama towards Looe and the Cornish coastline draws you in — a sweeping, ever-changing canvas of sea and sky that you'll never tire of, by day or by night.
Living & Entertaining (2nd Floor)
The upstairs open-plan living space is flooded with natural light and framed by mesmerising sea views. Settle into the oversized L-shaped sofa with a film on the 85-inch TV and surround sound, or light the log burner on cooler evenings. When the sun's out, slide open the glass doors and let the outside in — the wraparound sea-facing balcony is made for long, lazy lunches around the outdoor dining table, or simply stretching out on a sun lounger with a glass of something cold.
The kitchen is a joy to cook in: double oven, induction hob, a large wine cooler that'll keep you well-stocked, and every utensil you could think of. This is self-catering done properly. Gather everyone around the marble dining table for eight, or keep things casual at the breakfast bar. Separate WC.
Sleep & Unwind (1st Floor)
Three sea-view bedrooms, each with its own balcony access — step outside first thing and breathe in the morning air. The master suite feels like a boutique hotel: super-king bed with quality linen, 65-inch TV, Bluetooth ceiling speakers for your own soundtrack, and an ensuite with both a bath and a rainfall shower. Two further bedrooms are just as luxurious and offer flexible zip-and-link beds that convert from king to twin — ideal for families or groups of friends. These rooms share a bathroom, also with rainfall shower. A dedicated desk in one of the bedrooms combined with ultra-fast WiFi offer comfortable remote working if required, with sea views to make those video calls a little more bearable.
Down the hall, a cosy snug with games consoles, various board games, and a 65-inch TV gives kids (and big kids) their own space — or doubles as a quiet retreat for anyone who wants to put their feet up away from the action.
Ground Floor Retreat
A fourth bedroom with super-king bed sits on the ground floor with its own luxurious ensuite — perfect for grandparents, early risers, or anyone who wants a little independence. Sea views here too, naturally.
Your Own Private Garden & 2 Sea-facing Sun Terraces
Out the back, the enclosed private garden is a tranquil haven from breakfast until evening — fully fenced, it's completely safe for children and pets. Sink into the six-seater hot tub, fire up the Weber BBQ while catching the match on the outdoor TV with Sky Sports, or gather around the Solo Stove fire pit while star-gazing as the conversation stretches into the night.
The front balconies offer unrivalled views all day long and are perfect for taking in some beautiful sunsets on the horizon.
Dog-Friendly & Family-Friendly
Sunkeeper is a genuinely pet-friendly holiday home. The enclosed garden means dogs can roam freely and the nearby beach is dog-friendly all year-round. What’s more, sandy feet and paws can be rinsed off at the ground-floor outdoor shower before stepping inside. We welcome well-behaved dogs and provide bowls, towels and blankets so you can travel light.
On Your Doorstep
The dog-friendly beach, the SW Coast Path, a local shop, pubs, a tapas bar, and beach cafés are all a short walk from Sunkeeper. The fishing town of Looe is just down the coast and you're within easy reach of some of Cornwall's most beautiful unspoilt beaches, countryside and attractions — from Whitsand Bay, Polperro, Fowey and Talland Bay to the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Other things to note
Sunkeeper is our pride and joy — a home we've poured real time and love into creating. We're delighted to share it with guests and simply ask that you treat it with the same care you would your own home.
We're lucky to be in a peaceful village setting, so we ask guests to keep noise to a minimum outdoors and observe quiet hours between 10pm and 9am. Sunkeeper is not suitable for parties or events, and Airbnb-approved noise monitoring is in place.
Travelling with dogs? They're very welcome — though we do ask that they're not left unattended in the property or outside, as unfamiliar surroundings can cause them stress.
