This is a stylish and peaceful hideaway by the sea, nestling in the beautiful old town area of Scarborough.

Dating back to 1730 this Georgian town house was the Dairy for the Old Town. The fully self contained basement flat has been renovated to a very high standard. There is underfloor heating throughout, and a wood burning stove in the living room. The flat has a living and dining area, breakfast bar, fully equipped kitchen, contemporary shower room and very comfortable double bedroom.

The space
A well designed open plan living space and kitchen which opens to a hallway with beautiful bathroom and cosy double bedroom.

Wood and fuel is provided for the wood burning stove. The Old Dairy was a popular holiday cottage let. We have just refurbished the property to a very high standard and put the listing back onto Airbnb after a three year gap.

There are all the facilities you need. WIFI throughout the property, smart TV, Bose sound system, Roberts DAB radio, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Fridge, Freezer and fully equipped modern kitchen.

Walk in shower, and there is underfloor heating in all the areas of the flat.

Three minute walk to the beach on South bay and access to all the amenities, restaurants and harbour.

Guest access
Own front door access, parking is on the street in a disc controlled area. There is no parking in our narrow Georgian Street, but you can pull in to unload your luggage - free parking permits are provided for all the adjacent streets in the A2 parking zone. There are two steps down to the flat and one step inside the property.

Other things to note
Minimum booking is for two nights. Babies welcome and we can provide a travel cot and high chair. Up to two dogs are also welcome. There is no garden or outdoor area.

Neighbourhood highlights

A beautifully tucked away street in the Old Town of Scarborough. A grade 2 listed terrace of 10 Georgian townhouses, with the Old Dairy being the end of the terrace. It has castle views at the end of the street and is a 3 minute walk to the harbour and seafront, and 5 minutes to the Victorian market hall with artisan bakers, fishmongers, butchers and greengrocers. There are great pubs and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk from the Old Dairy.
