Comfortable 3-bedroom cottage on a quiet lane a mile from Arisaig and with gorgeous views of the Small Isles and mountains of Skye. Close to beautiful beaches, scenic walks and great places to eat, it's perfect for a relaxing break, remote working in a tranquil environment or as a base to explore this magical corner of Scotland.
From the living room's large window or the private garden, you can watch breathtaking views and fabulous sunsets over the sea.
Includes spacious, well-equipped kitchen.
The space
The Sheiling is a detached bungalow with a private garden and uninterrupted views at the front. It has three bedrooms, a single and two doubles. One of the doubles can be made up with a UK king size or two singles. It can sleep five or six including a child using a folding bed.
Windows are double-glazed and a new central heating system was installed in 2022.
The property is well-equipped and you'll find just about everything you'll need for your stay.

Full access, except garage. (Safe storage for bicycles or kayaks can be arranged upon request.)
Other things to note
The property sleeps up to 5 but can also accommodate a child on a folding bed. Max no of guests including at least one child is 6.

Neighbourhood highlights
Back of Keppoch is a quiet neighbourhood and crofting/farming area down a one-track road. There is a small beach at the end of the road.
Arisaig is around a mile away and has a shop, several places to eat, sometimes with live music, a marina, a train station, churches and a visitor centre. There are lots of lovely walks in the area. You can take boat trips from the marina.
There are several more beautiful beaches nearby and Mallaig is 10 miles away with more shops, cafes and restaurants.
The coastal road is a one-track road with regular passing places.
