Coverack , on the Lizard Peninsula is a traditional Cornish village, situated in an Area of Natural Beauty and a great place to kick back and unwind.

There is a lovely beach in the sheltered cove which is perfect for swimming, snorkelling, rock pooling or building sandcastles - whatever your age!

The bay is also a popular spot for windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding and even kite surfing (with the right wind) – you might even spot seals and dolphins!

Coverack is an historic fishing village with a harbour that was constructed in 1724 from local green serpentine. There are a small number of working fishing boats from which we are are are able to purchase fresh fish.

Only a 20 minute walk to the south of the village is Chynalls Point, an Iron Age cliff fort, part of the history of Cornwall. Just below there is Mears Beach, the perfect spot for sunbathing.

Coverack is on the SW Coastal Path. This stretches the entire length of south west England from Somerset to Dorset - 630 miles of the most stunning and dramatic coastal paths in the world.

The unique geology of this part of the coast has made it a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and you will be able to see this for yourselves as you discover the rocky outlets and hidden coves on the surrounding Lizard Peninsula.
