Sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, large kitchen, open fireplace and BBQ, ideal for friends and families. Within walking distance of a gastro pub, local shops and numerous NT castles & gardens. You can also walk for miles from the Lodge's doorstep.
The space
The lodge has 3-bedrooms and is an L-shaped, white weatherboarded single storey building set within the grounds of the owners 16C home.
It has it's own private entrance, parking and gardens with roaming wild peacocks and stunning views across the Kent countryside an AONB.

- 3 bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin that can be made into a double)
- Fully fitted kitchen
- 2 ensuite bathrooms and 1 main bathroom
- large lounge with dining area and inglenook fireplace with log burner
- The patio has lounge seating and BBQ
- A seperate terrace outside the main bedroom's sliding doors has dining furniture for 6 guests.
The entrance porch has plenty of room for shoe and boot storage and opens onto a long hallway. Off the hallway are two bedrooms, a main bathroom and kitchen.
There are three steps down into the spacious open plan living / dining area with two sets of French doors which open onto the terrace and gardens.
The large stunning lounge has a large inglenook fireplace for open fires, a Smart TV and seating includes a sofa, two armchairs, and an additional two-seater sofa.
In the dining area there is a table with seating for six.
Off the dining area, (one step down), you will find a bedroom with a King size bed, fitted wardrobes and dressing table. There is also an en-suite shower room.
Off the main hallway, you will find the kitchen which is contemporary and well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and breakfast bar.
Off the same corridor is a family bathroom with shower and bath.
At the end of the corridor (up two steps) are a further two bedrooms (the main double and a twin).
There is one step down into the twin bedroom which two single beds and fitted wardrobes. These are zip-n-link beds which can be made into a super-king on request.
Next-door is the main bedroom, which has two levels, the lower area has fitted wardrobes and a large ensuite with shower and separate bath.
There are three steps that lead up into a large bedroom with a super king-size bed from which you will enjoy the most spectacular views across the countryside below.
Floor to ceiling sliding doors lead out on to a private terrace with dining table.
Outside is a paved patio with a sofa and chairs and BBQ for your use.
To the side of the property there is a large, deep pond with sloping sides which is unfenced.
** PLEASE NOTE **
Due to the pond the owners will only accept children OVER THE AGE OF 8 YEARS who must be supervised when outside.
NO ANIMALS are accepted at the property due to the pond and wild peacocks roaming.
There is private parking for three cars at the end of property's path.
Internet - There is a good WiFi connection at the property.

Triggs Lodge is perfect for friends and family if you're looking for a tranquil escape (with the exception of the occasional peacock)!
Goudhurst is one of the pettiest villages in the Weald of Kent with a duck pond at its centre, church, a few shops, pubs and is 10 miles from Tunbridge Wells and 20 miles to the coast.
It sits prettily at the top of a steep hill with commanding views of the rolling hills, fields and woodland beyond.
Nearby places to visit include Bedgebury Pinetum, Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst Castle & gardens as well as wine tasting at Balfour Winery and Biddenden Vineyard.
Trains to London are every 30 mins and take approx. 50-55 mins from Paddock Wood or Marden stations.
