Yarvista is a beautifully renovated cottage in the heart of Yarmouth, one of the Isle of Wight's most loved harbourside villages. Warm, considered interiors, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a working wood burning stove and a sunny enclosed courtyard. The harbour, restaurants and coastal walks are all within a five minute stroll, with the estuary path to Freshwater Bay virtually on the doorstep. A proper coastal retreat for couples or friends, dogs very welcome.

The space
Yarvista is a beautifully renovated cottage tucked into the heart of Yarmouth. From the moment you step inside, it has a way of making you feel immediately at home. Warm neutrals, natural textures and carefully chosen details throughout give it the feel of somewhere that's been really thought about, which is perhaps why guests consistently say it exceeds their expectations.

The sitting room centres around a working wood burning stove, perfect for cosy afternoons or evenings when the weather isn't on side.

The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from a lazy breakfast to a proper dinner, with a dining area beneath a beautiful lantern window that floods the space with natural light. A utility room with washer and dryer leads off the kitchen, with a separate entrance that's particularly handy for muddy boots and paws.

Both bedrooms are comfortable and well presented, a king size bedroom with a shower room on the ground floor, and a second double or twin bedroom with a larger shower room upstairs. Two bathrooms for four guests is a rare luxury in a cottage of this size and something previous guests appreciated enormously!

Outside, the sunny enclosed courtyard with its bistro table is a lovely spot for morning coffee or an evening drink and completely secure for dogs.

Yarmouth Harbour, the town's independent restaurants, cafés and shops are a five minute stroll away. The estuary path along the old railway line to Freshwater Bay starts virtually at the door, a beautiful flat walk that's perfect for dogs and cyclists alike. The West Wight countryside, sailing at the harbour and the island's beaches are all within easy reach.

Yarvista welcomes up to 2 well behaved dogs and is perfectly placed for exploring the best of the western Isle of Wight.

Whilst there is no designated parking, it is very straightforward: Free on street parking for up to 2 hours during the day (free overnight between 6pm-8am) and a safe council car park just a five minute walk away for longer stays, which most guests find completely manageable.

FERRY DISCOUNTS: We are able to offer guests up to 35% discount on Wightlink ferries and between 15-25% with Red Funnel. Information regarding this will be sent to all booked guests once your stay in confirmed.

The property features one bedroom and one bathroom on the ground floor but please note that the second bedroom and bathroom are upstairs with quite a steep set of steps.

We do not have designated parking outside the property but guests can park for free for up to 2 hours between 8am-6pm and then utilise nearby council car parks or on street parking

We kindly ask that guests leave the property in the condition they would hope to find it. This is a much-loved home, not just a holiday rental. Any extra cleaning or excessive rubbish removal may incur additional charges, so we really appreciate your care and consideration
