Villa holiday rentals in Kvaløya

Great stay just outside the tourist area of tromso. Bed is very comfy and has everything you need. The only issue is you can hear everything the downstairs neighbor is doing. There is an open staircase to the lower level that is not well advertised. Even with that, we would still stay again!

This was our first time in Tromsø so we wanted a place that could accommodate five adults in comfort, but was also convenient for accessing attractions. We were not disappointed. The space was simple but lovely, and very convenient for the cable car up the hill to view the Aurora, which was spectacular! Lene was lovely and very helpful. For all the other attractions, it was only a 25 minute walk across the bridge. One recommendation in winter: watch out for the incredible wind chill while walking across!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft von Odd-Geir. Das Haus ist urig und gemütlich eingerichtet, mit genügend Platz. Es hat zudem eine super Lage, vor allem, um abends Nordlichter zu sehen! Das dazugehörige Grillhaus haben wir ebenfalls gerne genutzt. Die sehr höfliche Untermieterin hat uns mit Kuchen empfangen und war bei Fragen stets erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Odd-Geir bot uns eine Tour auf dem Meer mit seinem persönlichen Boot an. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!

The house is very cosy and warm, decorated with taste, well equipped and with a beautiful view on the city and the mountain. We felt at home and really recommend for a stay in Tromso. The city center is easily accessible with a short 10 min walk and 10 min bus ride. The neighborhood is very nice, with typical houses and snowy allays. Cozy beds and the house was clean and tidy. Birgitte was also very reactive and easy to reach out to.

很大的独栋别墅，二楼有非常适宜团队出行的大厨房，餐厅和客厅，由于天气原因，在这里我们没有能够进行室外活动，但是孩子们在房子内也玩得很开心。价格比起住的其他房源有些高，但是因为房子的整体面积比较大，所以倒也可以理解。由于入住人数所以部分房间是锁住的，楼下带有洗衣机烘干机的洗手间也是，和房主沟通后为我们打开了。这一点不是太方便，因为无论住几晚或者几个人，其他我们住过的房子的洗衣和烘干设备都是可以使用的。因为比入住人数增加了孩子，所以补了费用，也为我们打开了楼下的洗衣房和送了被褥。房子景色开阔，景观很好，只有美中不足进入房子的坡度很大，我们到的那晚因为雨雪坡上非常的滑，因为天黑我们也准备不足，差一点儿从坡顶直接滑倒了坡地，一定要小心，和房主沟通后他们也表示会关注。

My family and I stayed at Mikkelvik’s over Christmas holiday. We really enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful, extremely clean and the hosts were very friendly. We arrived the day after Christmas to find all supermarkets were closed and the hosts were kind enough to share food with us. One of the main reason for us choosing this Airbnb was to see the northern lights. My parents are older and didn’t think they could manage the 5-6 hr excursions from Tromso. Just a five minute drive down the road from the Airbnb, weather permitting, you got a pretty good view of the lights and we saw a lot of the paid excursion cars from Tromso in the area. Would come back and stay again.

Jorn and Ulrikke’s home was beautiful and homely and made for a fantastic break over the Christmas period. The views from the house were incredible and we got to see the Northern Lights from the balcony on Christmas Day! The town is just a short beautiful 25 minute walk. Jorn and Ulrikke were great hosts, extremely responsive, gave us all of the best recommendations and even put up a Christmas tree for our arrival. We can’t wait to come back and stay here if we get the opportunity!

Line is super helpful. She even bought us wine when we couldn't get any. She is very responsive throughout the stay. The house is very clean and functional. Very beautiful. The kitchen is fully equiped. Fully recommended. One of my best airbnb bookings

We had a great stay at this house in Tromso. I strongly recommend for everybody considering a trip to Tromso. It is an easy 10 min walking distance to the center of Tromso, where you can find many restaurants and the departure point for many of the attractions. The communication with the guest was very easy and always with a prompt response. The house is very nice and need everything that you need for a great stay. Looking forward to comeback.

A great modern house 10-15min from the center of Tromso. We enjoyed the beautiful view while waiting for the northern lights to show up. You can see them quite clearly from the house, or drive 15min north to enjoy complete darkness.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The place was beautiful inside and out and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was convenient, only 15 min from the airport. Ole responded promptly to messages. Would highly recommend!

Wir hatten eine super schöne Woche im Haus, Frank ist sehr nett, zuvor kommend und erreichbar. Die Kinder hatten riesen Spaß auf dem Gelände im Schnee. Der Whirlpool unter Polarlichtern ist ein Highlight aber auch das Hau ist sehr geräumig und toll eingerichtet. Wir empfehlen das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter und freuen uns auch auf einen nächsten Besuch.

Even though we were very unlucky with the weather did we have av very good stay. That because it´s a lovley place in a lovley location, the view from this place are just gorgeous. Tore Gjert hospitallity was also a big factor that we despite the crapy weather had such a good time. He got us feel at home, gave us alot of good tips and suggestion on what to do and where we could get good local food. He was also very helpful to oraganize the fishing trip that his son offers. We did the fishing trip on the only day with no rain and a bit of clear whether and it was great. His son is a great guide and we got fish and the secenery from the ocean is spectacular

this was honestly ideal. the view from the yard and from the living room is what you imagine a tromsö view to be. the house itself is spacious, great location (bus stop 3 min, bus ride to city center 10 min, suburban, quiet, the sea is right there), great taste in furniture and decor, we (a family of 5) felt really good there. sippie the cat was a hit with our 4yo, the trampoline was also a major highlight with the kids. the store is just a walk away. on many nights we simply wandered around the beachfront looking for "the perfect rock". this is not a generic "made for airbnb" space with just the essentials. this really is a home away from home. 10/10 would reccommend.

Wow wow wow! What a wonderful place to stay! We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the house and the beds were really comfortable so we had great nights sleep. It was a beautiful place. Kirsten had very kindly left us some bits in the fridge as the shops were shut. Every time we had a question she responded quickly and kindly. She was also relaxed and flexible. She gave us some brilliant restaurant recommendations too. We have eaten so well in Tromso. We would have no hesitation in returning and recommending Kirsten’s place. Thank you Kirsten and family - we will be back hopefully :)

This house was absolutely amazing in every way. Very clean and extremely comfortable. We felt like home from the first minute. Ingvar is such a friendly host and communication with him was easy. You can feel that he normally lives there, the place is so cosy. We also loved the hot tub! Since it is outside of the city the sky is really dark and we could see the northern lights from our porch on three days in a row! The kitchen is perfectly well equippec and we cooked most of our meals there. We would definitively return to Ingvars house.
