It is a good place, peaceful, tranquil and safe. Internet works well, the AC too. Will book it again for sure.

Our stay by Soraya was amazing. Very peaceful, calm, very close to nature. The surroundings are stunningly connected to nature. Soraya was very helpful and generous. We had everything we needed in the house for our family. Cleaning lady very friendly always around if we needed anything without disturbing. Someone cleaned the pool twice a day without disturbing as well. The place is a little far from everything but after a few come and go we got use to it. I already miss the landscape on our way to there. Even if it's far, the feeling is very safe and confident. Thank you!! I would recommend this place to anyone who's searching for some quiet and quality time.

Parada obligatoria en esta zona de Costa Rica. Todo es cerca. No salimos de la casa. Fue nuestro descanso a mitad de nuestro viaje por todo el país. La anfitriona fue de primera desde el inicio. Cómo no viajamos en 4 x 4, nos arrimaron desde donde dejamos vehículo hasta la casa al ingreso y al egreso. Y siempre disponible para alcanzar desde el pueblo lo que hiciera falta. El entorno es maravilloso. Y los lomos aulladores nunca te dejan solo. Volveríamos, sin dudas. Y el camino de ingreso es una linda aventura también. Todo de 10! Gracias!!!

We felt so lucky to with Joe and his dog Macho in Mal Pais. We loved the unit, super comfortable for 5 adults. The kitchen facilties worked well including fresh tuna from the fisherman at the end of the driveway. Joe's pizza is rockstar at the communal bar area next to the pool. The property was lush including many birds & monkies. We drove to nearby Santa Theresa for surfing and groceries and walked to "Secret" Beach for swimming and snorkeling. A small store, brew pub and pizza place are also in walking distance

This Montezuma property is amazing. Bedrooms were so comfortable and everything was clean. The caretaker and the housekeepers were amazing, so nice and always very helpful and gave us privacy. Karen was amazing as well, very responsive to texts and checked up on us to make sure everything was ok. I’ve been to Costa Rica 3 times ands this trip by far was the best. We look forward to coming back again

La vue est incroyable et vaut le détour! Le logement est beau et bien équipe. Les instructions d’arrivée étaient claires et il a été facile de trouver le logement. Je recommande de louer un ATV pour la durée du séjour, c’est beaucoup plus agréable. Marie répondais rapidement, elle nous a proposé plusieurs activités et nous à organiser des activités pour faciliter notre séjour ce qui a été très apprécié. Le seul point négatif est qu’il y a beaucoup de fourmis/insectes dans l’appartement, ce qui est normal comme nous sommes dans les montagnes.

Un alojamiento excelente, solamente que los aires acondicionados de las habitaciones, permanecieron en mal estado y quedaron en llegar a arreglarlos y no se presentó ningún técnico.

This place is amazing❤️ This home is beautiful, well taken care of and clean. Everything functions as it should. Each bedroom has plenty of storage to keep the space clutter free. All the cleaning supplies to keep your environment clean inside and out. There were several hard to travel with items that the host supplied such as an umbrella for the beach, cooler and a yoga mat. Noella and Jenny were so helpful upon checking in, setting up a snorkel excursion and helping us with a dilemma that we had to deal with when we left. The restaurant on property is excellent. The food is always fresh and the staff is really friendly. I definitely recommend the ceviche. We also have the pleasure of having the local masseuse Anja come to our villa to give us massages and facials. I would highly recommend her. We will definitely be back. Thank you to Raj for sharing his beautiful home with us.

We had a great time staying at Carlie’s Airbnb. The room was beautiful, great views with lots of windows and the shared pool was always clean and quiet. Felt like a private pool! Neighbourhood felt very safe and security guards on the property were very friendly. Would stay again!

Laurent’s house was exactly what my family was looking for our vacation in Santa Teresa. The views of the ocean were amazing. Highly recommend staying here! The pool was also fantastic.

We arrived on Xmass eve and the stove did not work. We were so happily surprised by caretaker Sebastian’s quick action and immediate show up of the friendliest repairman. Great great great. Thank you and we’d like to repeat our stay !

I could live there! What a wonderful home and especially the back yard. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, grill and outside seating/dining area. The home was very clean and we had plenty of room for 4 adults. The community was clean and we felt very safe. There was a restaurant within the community, and they had a few beach chairs available. The beach was clean, but the waves were pretty rough so we spent more time in the pool which was delightful. There is also a small grocery store within the gates as well. You really don't need to leave if you don't want to. Elizabeth was extremely responsive and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing visit to Costa Rica.

Die Lage ist fantastisch, etwas erhöht und abgelegen und dennoch erreicht man Santa Teresa in sehr kurzer Zeit. Man benötigt, wie beinahe überall in Costa Rica, ein Allradfahrzeug, aber nach einer holprigen Anfahrt wird man mit einem atemberaubenden Blick belohnt. Die Unterkunft ist minimnalistisch modern. Kein unnötiger Kram, kein unnötiges Dekor. Pura Vida.

This house is spectacular. It is exactly as advertised, so i wont repeat everything you can read here. Some details that aren’t mentioned: 1) 5-star-hotel-quality bedding set-up, we stayed in 3 different high-end villas during our recent stay, this one offered the most amazing sleep 2) amazing host / property management: Omer was very responsive and really cared about making our stay as memorable as possible, small issues were fixed / addressed immediately 3) This house is super central yet very calm and quiet - which is very rare these days in Santa Teresa due to so many construction sites. You will need some form of motorized vehicle to get up the hill 4) extreme privacy: Although you have a 180 degree view of jungle and the ocean, somehow there is not a single house or street that can look into the house or its garden. This also is very rare to find in Santa Teresa 5) the pool area is so amazing it makes think twice whether to go to the beach or just chill by the pool

We absolutely loved the house! The pool was great, and we were surrounded by beautiful nature. Our hosts were always communicative and helpful. We would definitely suggest getting a 4WD. They mention this in the listing, but the mention can be a little hard to find. The hill is pretty steep and it’s best to drive it.

La casa es hermosa , super limpio con buen espacio de jardín , súper privada toda cerrada por lo cual se siente mucha seguridad. Las mascotas pueden andar tranquilas y no hay peligro se que se salgan . La casa es amplia, la cocina muy cómoda . Solamente que no tiene aire acondicionado en la cocina ni agua caliente para las duchas

La cabaña es como en las fotos, una excelente vista, privacidad, se pueden escuchar los animales. Todo muy lindo, limpio, el espacio muy cómodo, y fresco por ser abierto. Tuvimos todo lo que necesitábamos. Y nos encantaría volver!

Our group of 12 stayed at Havana Villa for our graduation trip, and it was absolutely perfect! The layout is fantastic—spacious, well-designed rooms with air conditioning surrounding beautiful open-air common areas that made it easy to relax and enjoy time together. The cleaning staff was truly incredible, taking care of us every day and keeping the space spotless and manageable. Huge shoutout to Evi (the host) and Michele (the local manager) for being super responsive and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location was ideal—close enough to Santa Teresa’s beaches, restaurants, and shops to enjoy the action, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The villa comfortably housed all of us, and we could easily see it accommodating up to 18 people. We even had space to bring in a yoga instructor for a private session one morning! Highly recommend Havana Villa for any group looking for the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, luxury.
