This is a great place to check on local breweries (Angel City or Arts district brewery) and some of the best restaurants in LA like Girl and the Goat. They also have lots of events and plenty of Art galleries to see and cool arcade bars like bar 82 or mix high tech VR with old school games at 2 Bit circus! Super close could walk but renting a scooter or Uber might be a bit better. (30min walk - 5-10 min drive)

Cool hipster neighborhood located in the eastern pocket of Downtown. Many good cafes and restaurants! If you’re craving sweets, check out The Pie Hole and Salt & Straw for amazing desserts.
