Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Monroe County

wonderful, beautiful place only drawback was checkout was earlier than we are used to. beautiful and comfy homes and a pristine private beach great for snorkeling. we saw manatees, dolphins, star fish, and huge grouper right by the dock. kayaker a bunch right around the corner. beautiful sunset every night! we'd love to stay again!

We were looking for a house outside the center with a private backyard and Tim's house was a perfect choice. It was spacious and very comfortable, great for our longer stay. The beds were super comfortable and it was very quiet at night. The kitchen was well equipped so we could easily cook at home. The fridge comes with a cold water dispenser which was very handy. Tim is an excellent host. He replied very quickly when we had questions or issues and followed up to make sure each of the problems was resolved. Internet connection (once we were provided with access to a second network) worked well throughout the entire house and even in the backyard, far away from the router. The neighborhood is safe and green. You're one minute away from the highway but no traffic noise reaches the house. The worst part is that there's regular noise coming from leaf blowers and lawnmowers (and other noise generated by landscaping companies), but that's common in Miami and doesn't depend on the host.

As soon as we arrived, we were impressed with the cleanliness and amenities. While it’s more than I usually spend, the place comes with free kayak and paddle boards so we saved $$ on not having to rent. It was pretty easy to put in right at the place. Loved our stay.

We rented Ryan’s home during the week of our wedding in Key West — much more reasonably priced than KW, and only about an hour away. Home is clean, modern, well appointed. Heated pool and hot tub were a big hit with our family, especially kids (worth the extra charge). The pool was dirty when we arrived so when Ryan saw pics he deemed it unacceptable and sent a cleaner out to address it right away — he had a delicious key lime pie delivered for the inconvenience, which was a sweet gesture. It was good to have 2 wings to separate the bedrooms (main plus queen both with private baths on one end). We had 10 people in the home (including 4 kids) and had ample space. Helpful to have chairs and cooler for beach (umbrella didn’t hold up to windy day) — Sombrero beach while crowded was nice. Lighting outside to enjoy outdoors at night could be better, but awning to shade the chairs from sun during day is a great feature. Bring a Bluetooth speaker for music. We’d come back! Thanks, Ryan!

We visited Miami for a family reunion and had a fantastic stay at Miguel's home! The house was immaculate and fully equipped with everything we needed. The patio and pool were perfect for cooling off during the warm days. The neighborhood was lovely, with great restaurants and a shopping center within walking distance. Plus, it was conveniently close to the airport and our family. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an awesome stay at Cynthia's property. The location is great. It's outside of Miami far enough where you don't have a crazy amount of traffic but close enough for a short to medium length drive to other destinations & attractions. The property is fantastic. it is well maintained, clean and very spacious (there were 4 in our party). The neighborhood is nice and feels very safe. We took many walks around the area. There is some traffic noise but by no means a deterrent for choosing this property. For us the pool is a highlight. It's a large pool & deck and the water is kept warm. Cynthia is a great host. She provided and responded to all communications very timely. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

Just had a great stay for a guys fishing trip. The pool / hot tub / bar area was amazing. I had such a great time that I’ll be booking an additional week in August for a return trip with my family!

What a great place! The location was easy to find and central to all things Key Largo. Our unit was well equipped, clean and comfortable beds. I saw a dolphin, a manatee and plenty of iguanas sunning themselves. I would return again, and hope you all try this beautiful property

The house was comfortable overall. It was mostly quiet despite houses being close together and being near the airport. Hand soap and lotion were provided but not other toiletries. The pool was very cute and clean, though I only got to stick my legs in since the weather wasn’t hot enough for me to want to go fully in.

Arriving from very cold weather up north, Claudia’s warm welcome was just what we needed! Her lovely home felt like our own mini-resort—from the pool and hot tub (which she turned on each evening for us) to the fresh flowers and potted poinsettias, the pickleball court, comfy beds and sofas, beach and bath towels galore. She even supplied beach chairs and a cart for us when we headed to Biscayne Bay for a day. Claudia’s hospitality was truly exceptional, and her home perfectly located for exploring favorite spots: Vizcaya, Fairchild Tropical Gardens, Wynwood walls, a trove of great restaurants, and more. We had a wonderful time!

We had a fantastic stay at Michael's place. We loved the pool and the privacy of the backyard. The water was heated perfectly. The neighborhood was very quiet and close to the restaurants in Coral Gables. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Miami.

Great place to stay on your trip to the keys!

We needed a place large enough for our family to stay as we attended a wedding and this was at the perfect house. There were several restaurants and Publix supermarkets within a 5 minute drive. My favorite part was the covered and heated pool. We spend hours there. The house is very spacious. It has everything needed for cooking something if needed. Melissa is very responsive when any issues came up.

My family had a great stay at this property. Everything was as described. The house was clean and in great condition. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. That was much appreciated. Also, the area is very nice and safe. Easy to drive to Homestead and to Miami. One tip. Make sure you figure how to get the pool heat on early and get it going as soon as you arrive. It takes about 10+ hours to get to a nice warm temparature. Besides that, the pool was great when we got it heated. Bigger than pictures. I would definitely recommend to all.

This place was fantastic we did not wanna leave, felt right at home. Place was spotless rooms are beautiful. Very clean home. The area where the pool is at the floor is marble so it does not get hot, stays nice and cold awesome. The host responds to you right away asap ThankYou Desiree Viera

This was a fantastic location with a great pizzeria nearby as well as a fabulous French pastry and coffee cafe. This location is very near to nearby downtown and residence was cozy and provided all the comforts. We highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the Calusa Park! We stayed for a week and never got bored. There are so many great things to see and do. We really loved having the pool and playground so close since our kids stayed with us. The extra outside kitchen area is a nice bonus.

Overall we enjoyed our time here. It can be hard to find from the road but has a rustic charm to it. Enjoyed kayaking and time in the tiki hut by the water.

I enjoyed my stay in Miami. Rachel was a wonderful host. The rental was as advertised and clean and comfortable. I enjoyed having the kitchen area to make breakfast and lunches before I went out for the day. It was quiet in a nice neighborhood and I felt safe taking a walk in the evening. I would recommend this place and also Rachel as a host to others looking for a place to stay in south Miami. 5 stars!

I stayed at Jeanne’s place for a week and really enjoyed it. It’s an ideal location, especially if you don’t have a car. Very walkable to the waterfront area parks and shops and restaurants in Coconut Grove. The efficiency is small, but has everything needed for one person. The kitchenette is well equipped, and shower facilities work well. I also enjoyed using the large outdoor patio area. Highly recommended!

The place was a cute cottage oasis in the middle of the city. Very comfortable with a great back yard. Very dog friendly. Close to restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. Very clean and well equipped. Parking was always available right in front of the rental. Finally Francisco was friendly and responsive. We were in town for the Bacardi cup regatta and will rent this place again next year.

Kimberly and team were phenomenal hosts. We had issues with travel and they were quick to support our requests. The property is in a great location, neighborhood was quiet and it was close to whatever we needed as far as shopping or restaurants. WE will certainly stay at Kimberly's place our next trip down. Thanks so much Kimberly and team for making our visit a very memorable one.
