First impression- WOW! House is very spacious and clean. Stocked with every need. The house was very quiet inside. Owner (Gabriel) was very helpful with local recommendations and accommodating a special request. Gabriel was very responsive and stayed in communication with me when I had any questions leading up to the time of our stay. He was also very kind and accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend staying here. It’s a great location near to stores, restaurants and downtown. Definitely somewhere we will be coming back to.

Cute guesthouse, total privacy, great location in Santa Cruz. Sarah sent clear instructions and we had no problem finding extra towels, coffee, etc. There’s even a little s’mores kit included to utilize the fire pit—which we unfortunately didn’t have time to use. Street parking was easy to find and we could walk to the pier or SC downtown. Very much recommend and would stay again.

We had an amazing time! Phillip was the best host, and reached out ahead of time to help make our arrival smooth and uncomplicated. The little cottage was so perfect for our weekend and was the best location to explore Big Sur, Carmel, and Monterey areas. We would totally come back again!

We spent almost 3 weeks in this cozy and charming apartment. The location is perfect for experiencing all that Santa Cruz has to offer and we walked to the beach, wharf, and Boardwalk daily. Many coffee shops and restaurants are blocks away. Mike was extremely responsive and friendly, but not intrusive at all. We hope to stay here again.

This is a fabulous place to stay in Santa Cruz. It’s private with a sitting area outside to enjoy morning coffee! The house has everything we needed and the gardens around the place were beautiful!

Josephine’s place was perfect for my stay! The place had everything I needed, from essentials to thoughtful extras that made my visit even more comfortable. It was spotless, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Check-in was a breeze, and the clear instructions made everything super easy. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and well-equipped stay!

The Place is just as described, spacious and nicely decorated, and quite centrally located in Salinas. Salinas is well located to go to the monterey area which is where we were heading for. It’s a 30 min drive to Monterey. It is perfectly equipped with really everything you need for the kitchen, has a TV in both living room and bedrooms. All worked perfectly and you have both heating and Air condition in the living room which was really helpful since the days we spent there were quite chilly. Everything was in Perfect shape and worked out great. There is enough space to eat for four persons and you also have a second blanket for chilly nights which was great and really appreciated. We definitely enjoyed our stay a lot and were happy to be there. Thanks Marta for everything!

Amazing spot to stay. Very peaceful, a short drive from cities. Our kids loved the games, books, and arts supplies! Would love to stay again.

First off I want to publicly say Thank Betsey for everything!! Great location, easy freeway access. Very close to downtown for restaurants and entertainment. For extended stays it is the best!!

I would LOVE to stay here again! So clean, peaceful and beautiful setting!! Easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. We were able to watch the Santa Cruz Classic bike race that started 1/2 block away. The shared kitchen was organized, clean and friendly. The hosts were fantastic and the setting felt very safe. This is a hidden gem right on Santa Cruz’s main street! Don’t hesitate; you’ll love it!

Had a good relaxing time, and the hosts were extremely responsive and proactive with their communication. The bedroom itself is a very tight space, which you can somewhat see from the pictures, but the hosts have made every attempt to give everything you need within that space for a quick getaway - coffee machine, snacks & water, lot of spare towels, robes, extra blankets outdoors, outdoor bluetooth speakers, etc.. The hot tub was great and easy to use. The pool area is great with lots of seating, and the outdoor firepit was easy to use and highly appreciated. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen (Essentially a BBQ grill) or utensils etc. but I could see everything was well stocked for someone who'd like to use it. Having a camera pointed at the pool / hot tub area felt a bit awkward, and I hope they consider removing that, since I don't want to be recorded beyond entry / exit. But overall the experience was still very comfortable, and there weren't elaborate crazy check-out instructions

I have been coming to Carmel Valley since 2002, staying in the area. This was my best experience so far. Everything was as represented; the rental was clean and one of the best stocked rentals I have ever experienced-you could just show up with the cloths on your back and do great. Maria greeted me upon arrival and is a delightful person. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Carmel Valley!

LOVED staying at Le Petite Retreat! Louise was very responsive and a gracious host. Perfect place to stay over the holidays and close to all the area attractions. The washer and dryer were handy to have and the view was spectacular. I plan to book again in the near future when I come to visit family. Thank you Louise!

Such a lovely place! Wonderful host and a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood in a great location near many activities. The eggs were such a nice touch and we loved the chickens! Everything was very clean, and we were provided nearly everything you could need! Truly a sanctuary, couldn’t recommend more!

A fabulous little cottage in an amazing location. Our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers) felt very comfortable at the cottage and enjoyed the location. The place was spotless and well appointed. Super friendly and responsive hosts.

I'm not sure how to compare pricing his place is very unique. I would pay it again to stay there!

We stayed at Zohars place at a great time of year. If you enjoy California red woods galore, this is the place! Great hiking and mountain activities close by. Bed was clean and a bit firm, comfortable. Many cozy blankets and washer and dryer available. We had a great stay, thank you Zohar for being an awesome host. Enjoyed the infrared Sauna, easy to use, helped with soar muscles from hiking! We will be back!

This place was so adorable. Such a cute little cottage in beautiful surroundings. My daughter especially loved the bed in the loft. The host was accommodating and gave us all the privacy we desired. The house was fully functioning and as described. We would definitely book this place again.

Spent a wonderful week in Kathleen’s place. Perfect tidy smaller space with all the important things looked after. Coffee, olive oil, teas and cozy blankets helped with the rainy quiet days. Close to beach and walkable to both Boardwalk and Harbor. Hope to visit again this summer, will definitely check to see if Kathleen has availability.
