My wife and I had a great time at Tom's place. We were looking for a place to stay in Karen for one night to recharge the battery, watching movies and hanging out in the neighbourhood restaurants. Excellent support from Tom and his staff for check-in and check-out.

The location was perfect for me and the unit is in a very secure community. Overall, my stay was good. The place wasn't dirty, but it wasn't super clean either. The main sliding glass door also didn't lock so the unit was never fully secured, but I was able to lock my belongings in the bedroom.

I highly recommend this house if you're looking for a peaceful stay. Behind the large windows of the house or from the garden and your own terrace, you'll have a stunning view of the national park and the wildlife—at least antelopes and plenty of birds. It's very soothing, as is spending the evening around the fire. The accommodation is very private and well-equipped. I also highly recommend the walk to the Kitengela Glass workshops, where, in addition to the glass craftsmanship and the magical atmosphere of the place, you can enjoy their restaurant and swimming pool.

Susan’s place is located very close to UNON and is convenient for anyone working there. Although there was no private entrance to the room, Susan and her husband were very nice and provided all the privacy you would need while being wonderful hosts. They also have a lovely puppy who is very friendly and had no problem getting along with mine. Overall great location in a secure area and I would highly recommend!

I had a great experience, exactly what I wanted peace and quiet. Great host very responsive to my needs. The place is very cozy if you're a small person you can be 2. A big man like myself can't share a place like this I take too much space haha. The place is clean, the area is beautiful and clean also very nice view to take walks. The family invited me for dinner and it was delicious and a very nice exchange. I learn a lot about the people of Kenya. This place I most definitely recommend. thanks and til meet again!

This was the perfect Airbnb. As a single woman, I was concerned about finding a good and safe accommodation. But this place exceeded my expectations. There were two gate checkpoints leading up to the property. Then, the gate to the house was monitored by a very friendly man named Pascal. The room I stayed in was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. I would definitely come back to this place whenever I am in Nairobi again.

Maria is a very kind and caring host. always proactive and responds very fast. Her place is perfect, very clean, in a calm private compound, very safe neighbourhood. Very close to the shopping centre where you can get all necessary stuff at a cheaper price compared to other parts of Nairobi, there is a very nice kitchen called "Mtaa munchiees" nearby with very good food at a cheap price. In summary, Maria is the best host I have ever seen and her place is perfect.
