La roulotte proposée par Mélanie est très mignonne et située dans un camping plein de charme proche des stations de ski. L’environnement était très paisible et les échanges avec Mélanie faciles et réactifs. Nous recommandons !

We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend staying in Michael’s beautiful and immaculately kept converted Victorian Railway carriage. The carriage is beautiful and very quirky both inside and out. It was very easy to find and recognise from Michael’s directions and pictures. It is set on the side of a quiet village road with a very large field/old orchard at the back, which our 2 dogs absolutely loved. There are also many long walks around the local area on your doorstep. The carriage is in a perfect location for easy access to the surrounding areas of Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Sandringham Palace(must see) and the many beaches around The Wash. Michael is a lovely gentleman and a great host, who popped by to say hello and have a quick chat. Making sure everything was ok and answer any questions we may have had. I highly recommend a stay in Michael’s railway carriage, as it’s a hidden gem and a great place to unwind!

Aunque al principio puede no parecerlo, encontrar el alojamiento no fue difícil porque Reyes nos proporcionó todas las indicaciones necesarias desde el primer momento y también al llegar. La zona es preciosa si buscas paz y tranquilidad. Mi esposo y yo aprovechamos para desconectar del trabajo, y lo conseguimos completamente. Reyes es una persona especial que te hace sentir como en casa. El vagón es precioso y muy funcional. Puntos fuertes, sin duda, la zona rodeada de naturaleza, el silencio, la preciosa decoración interior y la fantástica estufa de leña que, personalmente, me encantó. Esperamos poder volver pronto.

We genoten van ons verblijfje in de pipowagen. Het is een charmante en gezellige plek om te overnachten. We kwamen met de trein en het was dus fijn dat de pipowagen op wandelafstand was van het station en het centrum van Mechelen. We genoten ook van een dagje Planckendael, dat niet ver is met de auto of het openbaar vervoer.

We've had a lovely week in the train carriage. Long walks and days on the beaches, cream teas and great meals out. My teenage children even forgot about TV and Wifi and enjoyed lots of chess and board games, and star gazing after days out! If you want to switch off and have a relaxing week in a beautiful part of the Isle of Wight, this is the perfect stay. It's a little shabby chic, but full of charm and has everything you'll need - very cosy and lots of space for dogs to sniff and run around.

This was a full experience with a variety of animals, views and friendly people. Ouchi the dog kept us company and was very joyful. the attention to detail in the wagon was unmatched, felt like a little corner of paradise. We will definitely visit again

We loved our stay in Wagon Lea. Everything was perfect for what we wanted . Ruth was very welcoming and made us aware that she was there if we needed anything. The place was extremely secure and dog friendly and our dogs loved watching the sheep and goats in the field opposite. Everything was perfect and we would 100% recommend to anyone who needs a peaceful break. We would definitely stay again.

Sitio ideal para descansar y salir a pasear, zona muy muy tranquila, al lado del rio. Muy buena opción para gente que haga senderismo o simplemente busque descansar. El alojamiento es tal como se ve en las fotos, y no falta de nada para pasar unos días. El anfitrión de 10, siempre atento y respondiendo muy rapido a las dudas.

Perfect location. Just and no more outside Norwich in a marvellous country setting. On site shop, cracking walkable pubs/restaurants for food. We stayed not the Norwich triathlon which was a 2 minute walk away.

Fantastic location and really quirky accommodation! It was very clean and while simple, had everything needed for the weekend. The joining instructions were really good with everything explained (and even links to videos to make life easy). Would definitely stay again

This converted train carriage is fun, magical, peaceful with fields, birds and nature all around! Wonderfully warm inside even when frosty outside, thanks to the wood burning stove (and a couple of electric heaters just in case). An easy walk to Blickley Hall which was very nice. Lovely local pub nearby too (Walpole Arms - and they do good food). easily possible to cook in the carriage, and the view from the breakfast bar in the morning was delightful. Pheasants everywhere! A very comfy and cozy bed - we'll be back, to enjoy it in the summer months!

The unique train carriage was a fabulous experience, it was situated in a beautiful place. Weather was terrible but that didn't stop us enjoying our surroundings. Next to the carriage was a pub that served breakfast, the food was amazing and convenient for the family, it's dog friendly too! The carriage does need a little tlc, but we found it pleasant and cosy. Would definitely stay here again. The host was very accommodating to our requirements. Big thank you Steve.

Spent a long weekend for family birthday. Captivating location. Beautiful property. Long walks very peaceful location. Despite 12 hour power cut we enjoyed marshmallows around the fire pit and playing cards surrounded by candle light. Can’t wait to return.

Our stay was simply perfect, peaceful, cosy, and had everything we needed. Pauline was very responsive, and so friendly and welcoming. The history of the wagon and work that has gone into restoring it is very impressive, and the attention to detail amazing. Really really recommend this place!

My husband and I had an amazing stay in Laura's quirky train carriage. The carriage was really cosy, eith lots of books , games and DVDs to keep us entertained. We had everything we needed and all the special touches were perfect. Would definitely recommend a stay in the train carriage, especially if you love trains. Thanks Laura for making us feel so welcome and quick responses to my messages.

Klein aber fein. Man ist direkt am Wald, was gerade mit Hund super ist. Im Winter kann es allerdings gerade nachts etwas kalt werden, da der Wagon natürlich nicht die gleiche Isolierung wie ein Haus besitzt. Alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Drinnen, wie auch im Garten :)

Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the decor to the furniture, which made the stay feel truly special. A big shout-out to the host as well. They were so responsive, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Their instructions prior to our stay made it all straight forward! Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable and exceptional experience! I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely lovely place - quiet and private in beautiful surroundings, and a short drive into wonderful Shrewsbury. Rebecca provided an incredibly list of recommendations (we particularly enjoyed Ed's fine dining at home catering). Having the kitchen and bathroom (both well equipped) in the guardhouse was a great idea, as these didn't have to be squeezed into the beautiful train carriage, leaving more space to relax. Very, very highly recommended.

Staying on this old retro train was an unforgettable experience! We felt like royalty, surrounded by charm and luxury. The location in the Lake District was absolutely stunning, adding to the magic of the stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something unique and special!
