Hut absolutely as described, so peaceful and beautiful view.

Madeleine was a great host, responsive to our questions and helpful with a solution.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Shorthorn hut but I wished it had been longer! The hut had everything we needed and was beautifully presented. Madeleine had left some breakfast supplies which was very much appreciated. The bed was super comfy and the shower, although not powerful, was hot and plentiful.
I don’t think I have ever been somewhere so peaceful and relaxing! There were only the sounds of the animals and the soft breeze. We sat on the huge deck with a G & T watching nature in all its glory.
The area is perfect for walks straight from the hut-the scenery is absolutely stunning. We walked to The Pig through the fields which took just over an hour. We also cycled into Slindon village, which was stunning. We had tea and cake at The Forge.
We had an amazing time and will definitely be back 👍🏻

Being a solo traveller it really was a place of peace and quiet..The beautiful surroundings are all around you and there are walks galore all from your front door. The hut was cosy ,private and the secluded space gave a great view of the open fields .
For the true peace seekers this is a great setting to slow the pace and enjoy nature but having said that Arundel is really close by and was a nice place to explore also.

I had the most wonderful two-day break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I stayed in the Saddleback Hut, which was spotless and beautifully decorated, with so many thoughtful home touches like fresh local produce from the farm, delicious croissants and more.

The guest book was exceedingly helpful, with lots of walking path routes and great recommendations for the local area. The Wi-Fi also worked perfectly and I didn’t have a single issue the whole time I was there.

Madeleine was so helpful and always just a phone call away if I needed anything.

I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape.
