6 days agoStunning location, extremely peaceful with lots of lovely walks in surrounding areas. Great place to eat in, sit out on the deck and have a couple of drinks in the fields. Great local pubs and restaurants nearby but all do require a short drive. Would definitely recommend for a serene retreat. 😊

1 week agoEverything was perfect! A beautiful, peaceful and private setting, with amazing views during the day, and a spectacular view of the nightsky. The hut is gorgeous, and we didn't want or need for anything - Madeleine has thought of everything.

1 week agoThis was our second visit to the shepherds hut and we weren’t disappointed, set in a beautiful flower meadow, so peaceful, near to beautiful national trust walks or a short drive to the seaside which ever takes your fancy you won’t be short of something to see or do The shepherds hut was immediate and everything you need to make your stay that much more enjoyable, the attention to detail in the shepherds hut is amazing Madeleine is the perfect host and the extras that were left were very much appreciated, I would highly recommend this place to stay

2 weeks agoWe had a wonderful stay in this beautiful shepherd’s hut, set in an even more stunning location. The interior has been designed with incredible attention to detail, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the breakfast provisions and chilled drinking water on arrival. Madeleine is a fantastic host: proactive, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making sure you have the best possible stay. The hut is perfectly located within the national park, with beautiful walking trails starting right from your doorstep. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and explore. Highly recommended!
