Louis was a fantastic host, very responsive and made the whole experience enjoyable. The property was just as described and location was peaceful and just a short walk to the main hub of Halls Gap. Genevieve did everything possible to make our stay a great experience. I booked this as a surprise birthday getaway for my partner, and without me having to ask, Genevieve added a bunch of little treats to celebrate. Everything was super clean, and the little things like turning on the towel heater was a great touch for our stay. Both my partner and I had the best time, using the fire pit to toast marshmallows gifted to us by the hosts, and enjoying the beautiful sunrise with a cup of tea overlooking the most peaceful landscape. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice getaway, it is so worth the money.

We had a fantastic stay as two families with 5 kids. The house is perfect for a cozy weekend away and the deck is the perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. Nige is a great host and we will definitely be back!

I'd highly recommend Stephanie's country cottages to anyone looking for a peaceful bush getaway. A friendly and gracious host, we felt right at home straight away and the cottage was lovely and comfortable. The garden is a fantastic place to do some star gazing, then have a copy fire to warm back up. Just loved it. Thank you for having us Stephanie!

Staying at this cabin in the mountains at, was truly a dream come true. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, with clear instructions that made everything effortless. From the moment we arrived, we felt at peace. The cabin is beautifully designed, cozy, and felt just like home. One of the most magical moments was spotting a kangaroo right outside the cabin at night! Waking up to breathtaking mountain views and the sounds of nature was simply amazing. We would absolutely love to stay again!

The property was cosy, clean and well thought out. There were 5 of us (women) and we had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. We were within walking distance of stunning Lake Wendouree and about a 20 minute walk to where all the fabulous restaurants, bars and cafes are located. Lovely bed linen, nice big bathroom, 2 toilets. Bright and airy, comfortable couches and plenty of pillows. Clare was in contact with us to ensure a smooth entry to the property and there were clear instructions on how to operate the TV, air con and heater and also what needed to be done when leaving. A beautiful property that I highly recommend. We had a great relaxing time in a spacious, immaculate home.

Avue was great. It had a beautiful, roomy open plan kitchen, living & dining area and very well-appointed kitchen. The bedrooms were clean & beds were comfortable. Bathrooms also spotless & spacious. The deck area is gorgeous - we had lots of beautiful wildlife visit while we were enjoying playing cards on the outdoor dining setting. The area was really serene & the views gorgeous. It was directly across the road from the hotel and an easy 2 min drive into town. We'd def stay again, it was perfect for our girls trip.

Small but perfectly formed, had everything you need for a short stay. We did find the bed hard and the pillows soft but that is a personal issue. Great location.
