Beautiful London Apartment In Amazing Location

AmandaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Lovely clean flat with a parking space, within view of Leytonstone Bus Station and Tube (Central Line) so extremely convenient and well-connected. Lots of places to eat, we can wholeheartedly recommend The Olive (Greek/Medi) and Bella Vista (Italian). Lots of fast/street food too, but didn't try. Manos very responsive host - and the flat was spacious, no central heating but heaters in the rooms which were very effective and a towel radiator in the bathroom. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!!

Gatsby Villa with large garden and fancy hot tub

DawnRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a lovely time with our extended family- it was lovely to be able to be together, but the house was spacious enough with a lovely design that allowed us to have some time apart if we needed it. A beautiful home and we would definitely consider returning should be occasion arise.

Fabulous 2 Bed 2,5 Bath Apartment next to Park

LoriRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was a lovely location which allowed us to be close to friends in Richmond and yet 30 min away from all the sites and events. It is also adjacent to Battersea Park. The duplex was lovely decorated and had all the amenities needed for a family to enjoy London.

Excellent 2 Bed/1 Bath Flat in Zone 2

John And MaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fernando was very responsive throughout, from booking to the stay itself. The location of the apartment is close to Tube on the Jubilee Line, so it was really easy to get to all the main London attractions. Check in was very smooth and welcoming. The apartment was spotless, light and airy. There was plenty of space and a very well equipped kitchen. The bed, mattress, pillows and bedding were very comfortable. I would certainly recommend to all and if we were back in the area I would certainly look to stay here again. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

Immaculate Maisonette on Fulham/Chelsea border

DavidRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Claire (& Luisa meeting us) are great hosts. A wonderful place to stay for a London live in experience. Buses & train virtually a minutes walk from the front door, one can easily access everything in London to visit. The house was great, beds are comfy and, along with the living spaces, the house provided a haven to regenerate after busy outings. There’s plenty of room & storage for a traveller, a family of standard size can comfortably spread through the provided bedrooms. Much better than a hotel! The kitchen adds significant value to the stay should one wish to prepare their own meals, avoiding conversion rate of the pound & significant cost of restaurants or fast food. We found the cost of groceries comparable to home & easily attainable around the corner. Where-as prepared food was at least double (and more) than what we would typically pay in Australia. This was a game changer for managing your travel budget, making the stay a rational choice. Laundry facilities also great.

We just finished our stay at Sandra’s property. We were met by Sandra and her husband who couldn’t be nicer! When questions arose she was timely in her response. Dawn the housekeeper was so nice too! We HIGHLY recommend this property for a stay!

Your guide to London

All about London

As the capital of the United Kingdom, London is a royal destination complete with luxe palaces, lush gardens, and an active infantry of foot guards in full uniform. But it may as well be the capital of the world: more than 300 languages are spoken in this 2,000-year-old metropolis founded by the Romans. The city’s colorful melting pot of international culture is rivaled only by its age-old British traditions and superstitions: keeping a half-dozen ravens at the Tower of London to protect the crown; licensing taxi drivers only after they’ve passed a daunting local geography test known as the Knowledge; and pausing for the requisite cuppa tea every afternoon. Whether you’re in town for the live Shakespearean theater or the lively nightlife, one thing is certain: London rolls out the royal treatment.

The best time to stay in a holiday rental in London

London’s climate is true to the seasons. The spring and fall are pleasantly sunny and cool, and summers are warm, peaking in the 80s, making both seasons optimal for staying in one of the city’s apartments. While the winter weather typically hovers just above freezing, it’s a charming time to experience the displays the city puts on for the holidays. Neither heat waves nor snow storms are common, though they have been known to occasionally make the news. Despite London’s dreary, rainy reputation, it’s actually fairly dry, averaging less than 23 inches annually. Still, locals tend to carry umbrellas during spring, just in case. As for the city’s infamous fog, it was caused by pollution, and has mostly disappeared since the Clean Air Act of the 1950s.

Top things to do in London

Tower Bridge

One of the city’s most iconic works of Victorian architecture, Tower Bridge spans the River Thames at the heart of central London. At 800 feet long, it’s easily walkable, connecting pedestrians and cars from the medieval Tower of London to Potters Fields Park, with unmatched views of the city skyline.

Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park

Located in West London, facing Kensington Palace, the immaculately maintained 265 acres of Kensington Gardens are open to the public, and feature a half-dozen statues and monuments to royalty and fairytale icons alike. Just across the road is Hyde Park, marked with walking paths, historical monuments, and even a bird refuge.

Buckingham Palace

Unless you have an invitation from the monarch, you can’t go inside Buckingham Palace, but the lavish facade is reason enough to stroll past. Built in 1703 and updated with each reigning monarch, the palace is the official royal residence. Plan ahead to catch the Changing of the Queen’s Guard, a London tourist tradition.
