This is a stunning spot a few minutes walk from Horseshoe Bay. Great decor, clean and really peaceful spot. Geraldine and Joshua looked after us brilliantly. We would definitely rebook. Only thing to note is that aside from (super delicious) breakfast there is no drink/food on offer for the rest of the day unless pre-arranged. But you can easily buy in the nearby supermarket and store in the fridge.

The stay with Igor and Michele was just nice. It is quietly located, the pool and the many seating areas invite you to relax. We had breakfast together and the whole atmosphere was super friendly and familiar. We would definitely come back and recommend it 100%.

This is a fantastic AirBnB house with a beautiful view of ocean, and with gardens, pool, and covered terrace. You are walking distance to two beaches and some good restaurants. The people that take care of the house, Nuska and Kumara, are really wonderful. They are very attentive, bring you fresh juices throughout day, and cook delicious meals. The breakfast is included but lunch and dinner can be served at cost (which is way cheaper than restaurants and at least as delicious). We spent a week here and that wasn’t enough…it really is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Put simply, we LOVED Isana: the unusual, airy, minimalist Japanese design, stunning location fronting onto such a pristine, unspoilt beach with (for our tastes) just the right level of activity to hold some interest and friendly faces without feeling remotely hectic, and absolutely divine food, made our stay feel wonderfully indulgent and relaxing. Tekla's cooking is, as we'd been told, incredibly good - she even allowed us into the kitchen to see how she put some of her curries together. It's not the cheapest place you'll stay, but it will no doubt be one of your favourites and most memorable. The beach puts others to shame in beauty and cleanliness and, although more comfortable seating for the beach and garden would have been welcome, the bodyboards meant there was little time for lounging around anyway!

A high end quality villa, 3-5 minutes by tuk tuk from Marissa Beach. Can highly recommend staying here for a few nights. Staff is great too.

Located on a rather quiet beach where you can both swim and surf. The staff were very friendly, the room clean, the bed very cozy and the view from the balcony really nice. At breakfast, we would have liked a little more variety.

We stayed 5 nights in Casa Maria's lovely oasis. An absolutely amazing place in Mirissa. A short distance to the beach. We experienced amazing hospitality from Maria and her staff who went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. Every morning there was delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and endless pancakes to the pleasure of the boys (10 and 15 years) The pool was nice and clean, the rooms large and spacious. We stayed in Shanil's place for 6 nights. We were greeted by Suranga and his team immediately after arriving we received a cool coconut drink and felt right at home. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Suranga and his team did an excellent job. Especially the food was fantastic, the chef did an excellent job. One of the best Srilanken food we had in our vacation in Sri Lanka. We had breakfast and dinner as well. The even provided our kids with western breakfast. We felt welcome from start to end and didn't want to leave. Hopefully we are back. The house with the 2 double room and the separate house with the family room is well set up and gives each guest his own privacy. The location is great with the beach and the ocean right in front of the house. With a 15min. Tuktuk ride you are both in Mirissa and Weligama. Thank you very much for having us.

Our family of 6 have just spent a wonderful week at Villa Alba. The villa was perfect, the food was amazing and the staff and setting superb. Not in the heart of the action but we were looking for something secluded, yet accessible when needed. The accomodation was even better than it appeared on the website. Special thank you to Kalana, who looked after us everyday, nothing was too difficult for him. All the staff went the extra mile, they picked up on our preferences and adjusted the menu and room service without even asking. We came away feeling very relaxed and would highly recommend a stay at Villa Alba to anyone. Thank you to all the team for making us feel so welcome.

Very cozy boutique hotel, located slightly away from the center, but only 3-5 minutes by bike, and I was extremely comfortable spending time there Klim is very helpful with any questions and I enjoyed working with him Wish you all the best

We had a wonderful stay. The place is awesome, beautiful landscape and surroundings . The bungalows are decorated with style and quality furniture. The bed is very comfortable . The hosts is very sympathetic and helpful. The food was very good and the presentation like a piece of art 😍. We highly recommend this place … we definitely will come back. Thank you again 🙏

The room is lovely and just as it was in the photos. Tall ceiling and light and airy. You can see waves breaking from the bathroom window (great if you’re checking the surf!). The cafe downstairs does great coffees and poke bowls. The host was very helpful and quick at communicating. It was perfect for our needs so we came back to stay again!

Beautiful, quiet location with lots of wildlife (and some very playful puppies). The villa is made up of 2 very large bedrooms and large bathroom/wet room with bath, one upstairs one downstairs. Both looking over the lake. Lovely bar and dining area with pontoon on the lake and food is very good. Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly, always on hand for anything we needed, including transport. The vila is a short distance from the Mulgirigala Rock Temple which is worth a visit and only a few £’s to get there in a TukTuk and entry - you will be offered flowers and a tour at the entrance before you get to the ticket office (these are extra).

This house is between a beautiful long, wild beach and a lagoon. It has a pool, a bar, and a nice patio. It's very quiet and feels like a real local place. The host is friendly and speaks English well. It's more like a friendly guesthouse than a hotel. You are 5 min walk from the beach or the lagoon. Also in the surroundings worth noting the turtles watching center at Rekawa.

Amazing place to stay in Mirrissa, close to everything you'd want to do, the place was really clean and spacious, the host helped us in getting back to the airport, even cooking us dinner one night. We will hopefully be coming back next time we are in Mirrissa.

Lovely space - super close to the beach and not far from Hiriketiya beach. The hosts were very friendly too!

Lovely house, very social, and perfectly located on the beach. Spent a week there and had a really lovely time, good mix between mixing up with the people in the house and doing my own thing. It’s very homely and Jack’s a great host who knows everything about the area. Would highly recommend!
