Waterfront holiday rentals in Vale of Glamorgan

This was our first visit to Cardiff in many years and the apartment was lovely and spacious. The location was walkable to the city center and Cardiff Bay. Amanda was a great host and very welcoming and responsive. We will definitely come back!

Lovely flat at a great location. Only a few minutes' walk to Cardiff town centre so getting food was really easy. Our ground floor flat was comfortable and had everything the 2 of us needed. It was nice to have a microwave and kitchenette so we had the option of eating in, glad we chose this over a large chain hotel for this very reason. On-street parking was easy, not too expensive during the day and free after 6pm. Will stay again the next time we're in Cardiff. After a small glitch at start (not owners fault but was sorted immediately) we loved the 2 bedroom apartment! It's just around the corner from restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. There is 2 balconies plus a rooftop terrace. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen has all you will need if you want to cook a meal.We had great communication with owner who was gracious enough to check and make sure we had everything we needed. Our first trip to Cardiff but will definitely be back! If I had one small thing to complain about the sofa in living area not very comfortable but I'm only nit picking on that..Thank you Kimberly for our brilliantly few days away!

A perfect place for our weekend trip away for the rugby. The flat is a 10 minute walk from Cardiff Bay and the City. Secure parking on site, key pick up and drop off was simple. Everything was well communicated and clear. The space itself is a home from home, with a good amount of space for a two bed flat. The outdoor balcony overlooking the river was lovely. If you need a base to explore Cardiff and arrive by car, look no further! Thanks Huw!

Fabulous location and easily walkable between both the exciting city centre and the culturally inviting Bay area. This accomadation quite rightly boasts its remarkable views of the river, is peaceful and private, modern, comfortable and yes, as cosy as stated! Seriously, the underfloor heating in the bathroom is a joy! This was my first visit to Cardiff and as a writer and tourist I can absolutely say my inspirations were tweaked! The hospitality of Gemma and Shaun was friendly, accomodating and respectful! Perfick!

This is a wonderful place to stay for a visit to Cardiff - walking distance to the Millenium Centre which as well as its usual programme also has a great VR/immersive experience hub called BOCS that is free to the public. It is a short walk from the train station and town centre too. The views from the balcony are lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped, beds are very comfortable, it is peaceful and the decor is luxurious. Great sound system too! The host - Adam - is very responsive and helpful. Top recommend!

from the very first contact to the time we left Alex was very helpful and easy to contact. He was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. I fell in love with the house. the attention to detail from decor to bed linen was second to none. It was stylish, extremely comfortable, spotless clean and classy. Highly recommend a stay there.. Conveniently located too.

Great stay at Sarahs house. Was lucky enough to have it available for 5 nights whilst I was working near the area. A cosy bedroom with everything that you need. A small fridge is provided to keep anything cool, and also a kettle with tea and coffee. Check in was easy and all communication was really responsive from Sarah. The bed was pretty comfy too. The two dogs where no trouble at all. Not too far from shops and supermarkets, and the airport only a 8 minute drive away. I would definitely recommend staying at Sarahs. Thankyou very much for an awesome stay!

Joy is a nice lady who changes her hairstyle everyday or twice a day. You can cook in her house as long as you remember switch off the fire. Cardiff is a small place, which means even Joy's house is not in the town, you can still walk to the town in 20 minutes. Just don't bother taking the train.

Great place for a one night stay in the Bay.

Paul the host was very welcoming, provided lots of information on the area and made us feel very welcome. He has a lovely home and a very friendly, beautiful house cat called Toby. Recommend this place to stay 👍

Walking distance to city centre and train station. Easy check in and host allowed us to check out after 14:00. Very lovely host. Booked 2 rooms but seemed we had the whole house to ourselves.

Loved our short stay here, the apartment was just like the photos! A long list of positives: a brilliant friendly responsive host, easy to find property, spotlessly clean, extremely beautifully decorated, had everything we needed from utensils to highchair to instructions for the different appliances, sleep quality was great it was very quiet, lovely welcoming touches added including a book basket Things to note: - yes the staircase is quite narrow and metal but we managed to carry all our things up including the baby and pram - take dishwasher tablets if you intend to use it - the parking for us wasn’t as easy as we had hoped, I think because we arrived on a Sunday afternoon so the area was pretty busy. They were also doing some works on the car park that is opposite the apartment so we were unable to park in that too. However after about 6pm on Sunday plenty of spaces then became available and it was fine for the remainder of our stay. Thank you for lovely memories!

What a fabulous 5 days we had at this Airbnb. Fantastic setting, parked the car and left it there safe in the underground car park and walked, Uberd and bussed the rest of the time. Everything you could possibly want is in the apartment, appreciated the welcome pack, lovely comfy beds, fantastic rainfall shower in the en suite, private garden to relax in and Gus the Westie loved looking out of the window. Great places to visit and eat at, absolutely loved Mumbles. Highly recommended. Try Cwtchina for the most fabulous authentic food and warm welcome. Thanks to Jan and Wayne. Beautiful location, fantastic view of Sand Bay. The apartment was clean, facilities were brilliant, good parking and our host was really fantastic at responding to queries and arranging pick up and drop off of the keys. Would definitely recommend.
