Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

Come and relax in this cozy 2 bedroom home situated just off the main highway in Baraga, MI. Nice, clean apartment just 5 minutes from Michigan Tech and a view of Portage Lake (lake access too!). One stall of garage parking available so you can go right from car to apartment without dealing with the snow. The driveway is plowed. Wifi, heat, keurig coffee selection included. Washer and dryer are in the spacious bathroom with a shower. Full kitchen and electric fireplace. Handicap accessible with stairlift from garage. Full sized bed with additional pullout couch.

Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. It is 8 miles from the town of L’Anse, and a 40 minute drive to Houghton. Cross country ski trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails, and ORV trails are minutes away. Participate in the many summer and winter fishing tournaments in the area or relax and unwind on the private beach. A boat launch area is a short walk down the beach.

This is a small log cabin located approximately 10 miles from downtown Marquette in a quiet neighborhood. Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.
