The apartment is on the lower level of a single family home, remodeled, quiet and comfortable. There is a private entrance, the apartment can accommodate a couple. In one area the ceiling is 6'3" High. It is within walking distance of Bethesda center and 2 metro stations on the red line, NIH and Walter Reed. NIH visitors: without a badge you'll have to register at the Visitor Center on Wisconsin Ave., those going to to the Clinical Center and Children's Inn may use the Cedar Street entrance.

Large, sunny one bedroom apartment, with private entrance, beautifully decorated, gas fireplace and 50" flat screen TV and WiFi. Large bedroom w/ king bed, walk-in closet. Full kitchen w/all amenities. Guests can walk(30 min) or take bus (2 min walk to bus stop) to NIH, Walter Reed and/or metro. Fresh coffee and teas provided for entire stay. Breakfast items for first morning : cold cereal, fresh bagels and cream cheese, small containers of milk and OJ. One block from Rock Creek Park.

Visit DC! Renovated basement w/ bedroom, en-suite bath, and kitchenette with private entrance available in residential Silver Spring. Home is one block to major bus lines, half a block to bike rental station, or 15 min walk/5 min bus ride to metro and is a quiet and safe but convenient location for your DC/ Silver Spring visit. UPDATE! Both metro stations near our home will be closed June- August 2024 due to purple line construction. Only bus service will be available for the summer.

NEWLY UPDATED: This spacious and surprisingly bright Bethesda half-basement is nestled in a quiet neighborhood only minutes from Walter Reed, NIH, and the metro. Large windows offer a view onto a patio bordered with hydrangeas and evergreens; the bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a Samsung smart TV, and a desk. Recently renovated, large, one-bedroom basement apartment with a separate entrance, large dining and living area, bedroom, walk-in shower, and kitchenette. Please note, there are stairs to clime as place is in the basement (see photos). We have free street parking and easy access to public transportation. Groceries and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. Downtown Silver Spring is less than 2 miles and 15-20 minutes drive is to NIH, UMD, Bethesda, FDA and downtown DC.

Apartment is 2 blocks from Rock Creek Park with access to hiker biker trails and several different playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts. Roughly 2 miles to either the Wheaton or Grosvenor metro stops, or take a short ride on the 38 bus to Wheaton or White Flint metro. Close to lots of restaurants, bars and shopping.
