Holiday rentals with lake access in Addison County

William's property is so beautiful. The view of the lake is breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. We enjoyed every meal on the screened in porch surrounded by the beatiful water. The home is so cozy and feels homey yet luxurious. It had eveything we needed. The access to the water from the dock was one of our favorite parts. A lot of wonderful memories were made by the water... swimming, kayaking, watching turtles and fish. It was such a relaxing and peaceful vacation spot and we hope to be able to stay again in the future. We also enjoyed the historical aspect of the property and felt a connection when we visited Fort Ticonderoga, which was minutes away. Our family loved this vacation and this lovely and charming home! Thank you!

Fifteen of us stayed over to celebrate our friend’s upcoming wedding, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The house was stunning—beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and perfectly set up for a cozy winter weekend getaway. One hiccup was locking ourselves out (we had proactively locked every door before heading to dinner for safety), but Romy was incredibly responsive and quickly helped us find an alternative way back into the home. The kitchen was well-equipped, though we did notice that the stove took a bit of time to heat up. However, they provided two toaster ovens, which came in handy for meal prep. Overall, we had such a fantastic time in this beautiful home, creating memories that we’ll cherish for a lifetime. Highly recommend it!

My family and I had a wonderful Christmas at Antoine’s home. The house was warm, inviting, and made us feel right at home. We had a fantastic time, from cross-country skiing during the day to relaxing by the cozy fireplace at night. We’d love to return in the summer to experience it again!

The Victorian Lady is by far the most unique, authentic and interesting house I’ve stayed in. The pictures really don’t do it justice, everything is amazingly decorated and functional, it feels like you’re stepping back in time without loosing any of the comforts you’d want/expect. The hosts were very responsive, attentive, and kind. If you’re coming to Westport STAY HERE!

Fantastic lakefront house! Used for an annual ice fishing trip with childhood friends, this house was PERFECT! Extremely clean, modern, and fully stocked with everything we needed. Beds were top notch. I haven't slept that well in ages! Snow arrived the morning we were coming up and the driveway and sidewalk were nice and clean for us. Ashley was great at communication. If my friends and I decide to do a future trip to Lake Dunmore, I'll definitely be looking for this house again!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Kate's house! She was extremely responsive throughout the entire process, and the house is in a gorgeous location overlooking a lake. We would love to come stay again!!

We had a fantastic stay at Kelly's lake house. The house was newly renovated and clean. The kitchen had all the essentials to make it easy to cook meals. We especially enjoyed eating our farm fresh eggs from Nadeau's Farmers Market outside on the deck to start the day. Kelly gave specific directions to find the house. The place to cross the railroad tracks can be hard to locate in the dark. Paddling on the lake was a highlight. It was great to launch right from the property. Kelly's place is located 30-40 minutes away from some cute towns to shop or grab a yummy meal. We were able to visit Essex-NY, Middlebury-VT, and Vergennes-VT. We would gladly stay here again.

This lakeside gem was the setting for one of the most restful and beautiful stays we’ve ever had with Airbnb. I loved sitting every morning on their porch to take in the first bit of morning light, and every suggestion made by our host was better than the last. I’ve visited Vermont several times, but I was blown away by all of the hidden treasure suggested by our host - everything from thrift shops to the best cafes. My two kids had a blast here as well. I would highly recommend for couples, families, or friend groups looking to have fun together.

Such a convenient stay for a few days of snowboarding. You can lay in your bed and see the stars through the giant skylights. A wonderful find!!

Our family, comprising six adults and a baby, thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here during a busy (solar eclipse) weekend in April. This property is brand new. There are a number of hotel rooms on the property. We stayed at the apartment suite just above the restaurant. The apartment was quite comfortable, offering ample space. It was impeccably clean, and everything was fresh and new. The convenience of having the restaurant just below was a definite highlight, making dining options easily accessible. We could hear noise from the restaurant in the evening but it did not wake our baby or impair our stay. There is a nice waterfall on the property. Proximity to Sugarbush was very good. Our hosts, TJ and Johnny, for the most part, were attentive and responsive. There was no TV in the unit or dressers in the rooms (we were told they may be adding a TV in the future). There was a bluetooth speaker for music. Our overall experience was excellent and we wholeheartedly recommend

Honestly can’t speak more highly of our hosts and the place. Hosts were extremely helpful and we had open lines of communication. The place was perfect for our ski trip. No complaints at all.

Had a great stay at Daniels place. It’s conveniently located close to a lot of Hiking in the surrounding parks and the ferry in Essex to go across the lake the Vermont! I would stay here again.

What a lovely lake house! Cozy and the most comfortable bed. Beautiful views and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. Such a gem of a place! Highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at Jason/Steve’s. We love the location right on the lake. The dock is a wonderful place to hang out on to enjoy the view, boats, sunset. Having the deep water to swim in off the dock is a treat. The camp is comfortable, clean and fully stocked. The front porch with all the windows is a great gathering spot. Jason/Steve checked in on us to be sure we got in ok and that everything was in order. We recommend staying in their place. We plan to be back again next year.

Exceeded all my expectations. The property was the perfect escape for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. One of the standout features was the private fire pit, where we spent every evening roasting marshmallows and making s’mores under the stars. The owners really thought of everything. They provided kayaks for us to explore the calm waters at our leisure, which became a daily adventure. The house itself was immaculate, tastefully decorated with a rustic-chic vibe, and equipped with all the modern comforts you could ask for. Highly recommend!

The location is peaceful and beautiful. Loved having our morning coffee on the dock overlooking the lake and autumn leaves. Enjoyed kayaking to Paddlers Pub for drinks & food. The cottage is very cozy and just enough space for 2 people.

We've had a wonderful stay at the cottage on the lake. From the moment you arrive, you find the peace and serenity you came for. The stairs to the water are a short walk to views and daily sunsets. The cottage is well stocked and cozy for winter nights. Cell service and wifi keep you connected. Pratt's General Store is well-stocked and a five minute ride, and Middlebury is only 20 minutes away. Would recommend to any looking to re-connect with nature and the beauty that is Vermont.

Fabulous experience! Having gone to Lake George my whole life, my siblings and I have concluded that the North Country is the best, most peaceful and least commercial part of the Lake. This lakefront house is situated right on the lake with gorgeous interiors and magnificent placement on the Lake. The owners were super responsive with any questions. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook and serve several people. There are a few great little restaurants around, but we chose to go to Walmart 5 minutes away and prepare our meals together. The beds are super comfortable. A great house in which to "recharge your batteries" managed by fabulous owners. Highly recommend!

Mary Lou’s place was absolutely phenomenal. I came in the middle of October, and it was peak cozy, fall vibes! The cabin next to the docks in the foliage felt like I was in a painting. I absolutely would love to come back and just cozy up under a blanket next to the fire place. Highly recommend staying in this gem of a place if you have the opportunity.

This is the Adirondack charm, but with much clear beds and kitchen ware. All you need. We will be back.
