Farmstay holiday rentals in Alabama

This is a place that we will definitely stay again! My family all loved the cabin for a family get together. Lots of room and very clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed. The Host was very helpful and the communication was fantastic!

Blue Shadows is a lovely get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Miss Ann was attentive to any and all needs and a wonderful conversationalist! We greatly enjoyed sharing Sunday breakfast together in Blue Shadow's opulent dining room. We certainly look forward to more visits in the future.

Our stay was one of the best we have had in the area! Sara is a GREAT HOST and we will definitely be back soon! The house is in such a peaceful area! We felt right at home!

We loved the cabin and the farm. The kids each had their own beds in the loft upstairs and they loved it also. They were obsessed with Penny the farm dog who came to visit us often. The pool was great, got to pet and feed the animals (many donkeys, horse, goats) who are adorable and all had their own fun personalities, zip lined, explored…the kids and we had a wonderful trip and it made a hurricane evacuation less painful. It was weird being so at peace on the farm while a hurricane was aimed at us back home :) we really enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed my stay in this small casual cabin surrounded by woods. 2 ponds to view from the porch rockers or to walk around with Margo the owner's cat. Very clean cabin, comfortable bed, & peaceful sleep...my 3 top criteria! I will stay again next time traveling anywhere near here!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! The tile walk in shower in the master bedroom is absolutely gorgeous, very well done. The cabin is in a beautiful location and it’s very quiet. My day was exceptional.

If you are looking for a peaceful way to disconnect- this is it! We fished, we went on beautiful walks, and we canoed. Love that the canoe and kayaks were provided right in the backyard! Property was absolutely beautiful, my favorite part was waking up and drinking my coffee on the porch swing while looking at the sun come up over the water! Heather was so kind and great at communicating throughout our trip!

Highly recommended! The Peaceful Country Retreat is definitely one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed at and is exactly as named. Everything was as described and we felt right at home with our dogs. The home was super clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We stayed to attend a multi-day dog sport event, so we didn't spend a lot of time there during the last several days of our 9 day stay, but we loved it. We also enjoyed the seeing the cows near the house in the morning and evening. Super quiet and peaceful. Michael and Cecelia were absolutely fantastic hosts. They were quick to reply to any questions and proactively reached out to during our stay.

We had a great stay and just enjoyed a rural getaway. We fished multiple times a day. The kids were excited to see the large snapping turtles in the pond. There were also a few vibrant birds. It was the perfect space for our family. We used the fire pit and roasted hotdogs and s’mores one night.

My family and I loved the place! We loved everything about our stay. It was so peaceful and the beds were oh so comfortable!!!! Definitely was a great birthday experience for me. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at this homey farm cabin in the country. It was stocked with all the necessities, and even fresh eggs awaited us. The horses, goats, and chickens on property are so sweet. Such a peaceful spot to sit on the front porch or tree swing and relax and recharge. Angela and Rodney are gracious hosts and so nice to chat with. Thank you for everything!

I have to honestly agree with the other reviews regarding this property. The spot was PHENOMENAL. It was so peaceful, and my family thoroughly enjoyed the entire place. We came out for my husband's warrant officer graduation, and it was such a great place to come back to and relax. If we ever find ourselves in Alabama again, we would 100% stay here again.

Monica has hosted us at two lovely places, and this one was no exception! It was cozy and had everything we needed. The view was stunning too!

We loved Rosalyn’s place! We only stayed one night and wish we could’ve stayed a few nights. We definitely plan to be back to stay again in the future. Walking down to feed the horses and make our way to the pond was an amazing experience and very peaceful! The place was clean and there were some extra amenities that we didn’t even know that were going to be there so that was a plus. Also, this place is pet friendly so if you needed/wanted to bring your fur baby you have the option. We 100% recommend staying here if you like a farm-like outdoorsy feel to a stay and a really nice comfortable interior set up for a small group.

Home has a lot of history. Loved the porch and antique items that were on display. The piano was a hit for the kids they all had to play a few keys. Waking up on the farm when you went outside you could hear a couple roosters in the distance. (Nothing that could be heard inside). The home was decorated for the holidays and was very welcoming. There were Christmas trees and fireplaces in every room. Beautiful home easy check in and out procedures and well stocked. Will stay here again if in the area.

This was our first experience doing an Air BnB for a beach vacation and let me tell you.. Shannon’s beach front condo has convinced us that’s the only way to go!! Everything was exceptionally clean. The beachfront view was breath taking! My kiddos loved that we had private beach access AND an indoor/outdoor pool. There was everything and more supplied in the condo for my family and I to feel at home while on vacation! And the beds were even super comfy which is rare to find while being away from your own! Highly recommend!!

Frog Stomp was everything that was described and more! The house was so wonderful, clean and tidy, with everything we needed! Justin was so nice and responsive, he made me aware if he would be coming to the property so as not to alarm me or my dogs. The path they set up around the property is a great addition, especially with my dogs! I highly recommend staying here & I would definitely stay here again!

Such a wonderful experience with amazing and kind hosts. The house itself is GORGEOUS and in a beautiful and scenic area that was easy to find. The house had everything we needed and then some- we could tell the hosts put a lot of thought and effort into accommodations. (And its so cute!!) But what really stands out is how friendly and hospitable the hosts were. (You absolutely could not ask for nicer people.) We all slept better than we have in years and my daughter had a blast getting to be out in the country, near horses, chickens, cows and a beautiful landscape. Highly recommend and will return (if available) next time we're in town.

What a peaceful, spacious, very clean Airbnb! We got in late so didn’t get to hangout and enjoy, but our family of five slept splendidly. We ran into an unexpected issue at checkin, but the hosts did an extremely good job at resolving it, and for that I would highly recommend this Airbnb. The bakery across the street is a must for breakfast! Delicious freshly made cinnamon rolls! I don’t think we will be back in the area, but if we ever are, I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great time staying at Martin’s place! The inside was beautiful and clean. All of the appliances were working well and the area is very peaceful. Martin was also super friendly and responsive throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Was in town for a bass tournament on Smith Lake. I had my boat with me and this place was great for a fisherman or a family. Great parking situation with access to electricity for charging batteries. The farm and pond were very cool and the house was clean and well equipped with everything a person needs. Will be staying here again when I am fishing smith.
