Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Ålesund Municipality

The house boasted breathtaking lake views that made our stay special. Everything about our stay was exceptional. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, making it easy to prepare our meals. The entire space was pristine and well-maintained, contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere. Hans was incredibly accommodating, always ready to answer any questions we had. Their hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway in Norway. We loved every moment of our time there and can’t wait to return!

We loved our stay at Yvonne's home. It was a beautiful house with an amazing view. Yvonne and her husband, Sverre, were great hosts and extremely responsive. The location was great with easy access to groceries, restaurants, hiking, and fjords. We had a wonderful time.

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!

My mother and I enjoyed a few days at Yael's beautiful villa and had a wonderful time. The home and amenities are exactly as described. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and Yael left clear instructions for using various amenities. The view couldn't be better! We were treated to beautiful sunsets over the water every night. There is a nice walking path at the shoreline and there is a bus that is a short walk uphill that goes into the city. There is a grocery within walking distance or bigger stores a short drive away. We highly recommend Yael's villa for couples, a small family or a solo get away. We hope to return again in the spring/summer season to see more of the area, which is stunning! Many thanks!

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!

The place is really worth recommending! A home designed and made with great craftsmanship. Natural materials in the interior beautifully refer to the views outside the windows. The amenities are also very tasteful. We were with a friendly family, and we had a special time together. Each of us mentions this trip as the best of life. Outside the house itself the neighborhood is beautiful. Throughout our stay, we explored new places every day. Beautiful country, rich in amazing landscapes that take your breath away. We are thinking of staying again. The beds were very comfortable, sheets like the best hotels. A comfortable table (we were very comfortable for 8 people)and a well-equipped kitchen. We cooked delicious dishes every day while admiring the view of the mountains outside the windows. Amazing experience. Well-equipped gym, beautiful rooms to relax. It was much better than we expected! The contact with Ove was very good, he is a very kind and helpful host. It tells you the best places to see. Nothing to complain about!

Incredibly special home on the water. We were traveling with friends and we all agreed that it was the most wonderful Airbnb we have ever been at, and we have travelled extensively. Perfect tidy home beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and furniture, fully stocked kitchen, espresso maker. We did have an issue with the stove that Robert offered to come fix during our stay but otherwise perfect. Very remote so no restaurant nearby but grocery store about 8 minute drive. We recommend this home highly!!!

We had a nice stay at this lovely house. Well maintained and insulated. Beautiful outdoor space and the hot tub was nice! Small tip: put wood and/ or addresses where the wood is for sale for the first day. In the end, after a long search, we found it at a gas pump in Alesund.

We had a great time at Karl Helge's house. It's better than the description and pictures. There are 3 full bedrooms, a bathroom, a large modern kitchen and a great living room with new couch and good TV. But the outdoor area is better. You can spread out on 3 terraces, use the great hot tub overlooking the fjord or fishing from the jetty. You are completely undisturbed and surrounded by nature. Karl Helge is very nice and helpful and showed and explained everything in the house. The only small point of criticism is the way down to the house by car. Down is no problem. It can be a bit difficult without four-wheel drive and in slippery conditions. The note from Karl Helge with front drive to drive the most difficult part backwards was gold and not so difficult at all. We would love to spend another few days at this great place!

Very pleasant accommodation, superbly equipped and with a beautiful view, I recommend it for a group of friends in particular!
