Overall we had a nice stay. The apartment complies with the photos and description. The beach is next door. And San Jose is an excellent base for visiting the beautiful Cabo de Gata Park. The accommodation is well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed the parking space on the street and the large terrace.

A beautiful week at this wonderful penthouse apartment located right in the marina. Karen and her local host were very helpful. Exceeded our expectations in every way and will certainly come back.

Very beautiful apartment. We felt right at home! Very tastefully decorated apartment. You can see the effort they have put into this apartment. Would definitely come back! Washing machine, dryer, rack etc down in -1. Small supermarket 100-200m away. Good for some basic grocery shopping 🙂 And parking situation in front of the apartment was also no problem. Free parking.

Rory is a super host. The accommodation is just prima. everything is present, large kitchen and a super nicely decorated bar and large terrace. he is currently renovating, but be sure that the rooms will look even better in the future. You feel well at home and well worth a visit. Vera is beautifully central and you have a great base to the beautiful beaches and nice places such as villaricos (Sunday market) , garrucha (Friday market) and mojacar many chirinquitos especially in weekend live music. further alquilas and san juan de terreros worth visiting.

I was very happy to stay with Candida as the room was very large and had a desk and chair where I could do my work. It is also a quiet flat. For the tourists: one is quick everywhere one needs to go, be it the beach, gym or supermarket.

Rory is a very welcoming man who makes his home completely available! Very correct and helpful! Also a cozy and social personality that makes it fun to chat with. Being in someone's house is a matter of trust, and he certainly gives you that feeling. You could grab a nice drink yourself at the(honest bar) itself, for a small price. The room where we slept was clean and tidy, bed slept wonderfully. Bathroom and toilet clean and tidy. Tea coffee was also there for use. In short, in our short stay 2 nights it was more than worth it, also from a price point of view. We really look back on a nice stay and not to forget to meet with a beautiful person👍 (and the welcome drink is highly recommended!)

Ricardo and his wife Gloria are very affectionate people. The hospital was very good. I felt at home. Gloria's food (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dinner) was homemade and very rich. They also offered typical, healthy dishes, as well as an infusion of natural regional grass and an orange juice from their own orange trees. Thank you for everything

Me and my Father recently emigrated from UK to Spain. We have stayed at Abuelita Ana’s home for the past 2 weeks and I can not emphasise how beautiful Ana’s home and surroundings are. We were welcomed by Abuelita Ana, her family and their neighbours. They are all wonderful people. The pictures do not reflect how beautiful Ana’s home is, property is very big, very clean and has a lot of special history which Abuelita Ana and her family kindly shared with us. Property is located in Alcontar which is in the mountains surrounded by gorgeous country side. Abuelita Ana’s granddaughter kindly recommended some amazing things to do near by. We visited Observatorio Astronomico for sunset and sat under the stars for hours, an unbelievable experience! We attended the Yearly Fiesta in the local village where we ate fantastic tapas and drank amazing beers with all the local people in the local restaurant. Anyone visiting Almeria should absolutely stay here - a beautiful traditional Spanish village. In my opinion, this property is way too cheap, I would happily pay double / triple the price of what is advertised for this little hidden gem in Alcontar. Abuelita Ana I can not thank you and your family enough for your hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I shall be returning as soon as I have improved my Spanish.
