Holiday rentals in Almuñécar

The best Airbnb we have ever rented. Patricia is an amazing host with so many great recommendations and she made us feel very at home and at ease. Her home is absolutely stunning and the perfect setting to unwind and relax. Will definitely be back again. Thank you so much we loved it!

Frigiliana We selected Camilas house for our one-week stay because of the beautiful surroundings of Frigiliana and we did not regret our choise. We enjoyed the Moresque influenced clean but robust design of the house, the remote sea view as well as the peaceful surrounding nature. A car is definitely a must for accessing this hillside location, but actually it took us less than five minutes to drive to Frigiliana and twenty to Nerja and the coast. The house is spacey with a well equipped kitchen, small dining room, large bedrooms and cozy sittning areas, several outfoor terraces giving opportunity to enjoy the sun or shadow throughout the day. We did not miss the TV at all. Heating elements were provided in every room. We also enjoyed the pool area! We found nice restaurants in nearby Frigiliana and visited also the magnificent Nerja caves and made one day-trip to Alhambra. Camila and Pati (the local host) were always friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with.

Remote escape to Andalusian countryside. The villa was lovely. Quiet, peaceful & idyllic. Situated atop a hill with unobstructed views across hills & plantations with sea in the distance. The villa was clean, comfortable, and with all essentials. Some people may find this villa too isolated, but this is what we wanted (needed!). There is a small supermarket in Benamargosa (10 min drive), and large hypermarket in Vélez-Málaga (30 min). You'll need to travel distance to eat out. Challenging 10 min drive between Benamargosa & the villa: single windy mountain track and last minute on unsealed road - safe but for a confident driver. Take it slow & you'll be fine (the drive to the reservoir is more challenging, & don't turn left at the STOP sign down onto Cala Ermita unless your car is small!). We stayed in March, so chilly evenings indoors (wood fire was cosy), but ideal for warmer months. Only struggle was water pressure/flow in showers. Wilm a very helpful & responsive host. Would return.

We had a fantastic family holiday, especially because of the heated pool which meant we could all swim in February, the fabulous views, and the flowering plants in the garden. The house gave us all the accommodation we needed as a large, three-generation group. Great, large BBQ, lovely bedlinen and very comfortable beds. The host, Jose Maria, is such a lovely gentleman who made us feel easy, relaxed and welcome. It is a shame that the urbanisation does not have pedestrian paths, but the actual home is very tastefully presented and extremely well-equipped, both in the two kitchens and throughout, with numerous towels, and plenty of sunloungers etc. The tennis/football area nearby was also a great facility. Salobrena is a short drive and has a range of supermarkets, municipal market and restaurants. Almuñécar is twenty minutes drive and has wonderful beaches, promenade and lots of beach cafes etc. A lovely town to visit.

Unbeatable location with a lovely feel to the apartment and Christian has really thought about what his guests need for their stay. An excellent find!

The first time we use Airbnb and hopefully they are all like this, great accommodation ( close to the beach, leisure etc) very well equipped, everything new and Stefan simply TOP, super friendly, flexible and helpful, we will definitely repeat.

Great location with beautiful view and views around it. Good amenities for all the important equipment and utensils for cooking and living. Unfortunately, we did not have any garbage bags and Zewa. These things are forgotten when shopping 🥲 Overall place was very clean and well ventilated. But mosquitoes can come in. Would recommend.

Very nice and brand new apartment. All clean. Good beds. Great and large pool. Close to the sea and several beach bars nearby. Host Ivan was helpful and communicative. We enjoyed our stay.
