Holiday rentals with a kayak in Altamaha River

Beautiful home in an awesome location. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Kitchen was really well stocked and house was super clean and well taken care of. Beach was basically right outside the front door and we rented a golf cart (highly recommended) to take a quick 2-5 min drive to restaurants and activities near the main street. Very happy we chose this rental and we would absolutely come back! Carol did let us know to bring our own shampoo/conditioner/soap but I missed that info, so be aware to bring your own stuff on that front.

Perfect location for our needs. Lots of amenities in the house for kids. Marcus was very responsive with some questions we had before arrival, and check-in/out was very smooth. We would definitely stay there again if we’re in the area.

Everything was as described. The home was spotless and you could tell the property was well taken care of. I think our favorite part of the stay had to be the duck's! They're a fun little wake up crew to walk out to in the mornings. My boys loved them. We enjoyed playing in the pool during the hot part of the day and in the evening we fished and played basketball. Hands down the best place we've stayed at over the past several years. The kids are already asking if we can go back and we just let. Thanks for sharing your amazing home with us!

Tara and Mitch were very responsive and great hosts! The instructions were easy to follow, easy access, and the house was exactly as pictured. It was a lovely place to stay. The house was fully stocked with everything needed for an extended stay, including nice linens and towels. It was well furnished and very comfortable. The weather was a little cool to enjoy it much when I visited, but the back deck and fenced yard are a nice bonus. There is also off-street parking available in the back, but street parking was always available and easy. Overall, a great stay!

The neighborhood was peaceful and inviting. The hostess (Darlene) responded to my inquiries in a timely manner.

My wife and I felt an insatiable urge to shake things up and rejuvenate our spirits for a few days. We yearned to escape to a serene haven. It was exhilarating to discover a hidden gem where it felt like we were the only two souls on earth, and that seclusion was precisely what we needed. The sprawling home we called home for a brief while was a perfect sanctuary for the two of us. I must say, it was incredibly vast, offering us ample space to unwind and revel in each other's company. We had an absolutely phenomenal time. The sublime weather was the icing on the cake, and our brief sojourn granted us a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with our inner selves and nature's splendor.

Cassie always goes out of her way to help we love staying there and will continue to enjoy it there. It is a beautiful place very quiet and we love to fish there or just hide out from the rest of the world.. Thank you Cassie for being such a great host.

This place is amazing! Very private area, neighbor on one side only. Worth it to get up in morning to see a stunning sunrise! We celebrated an early family Christmas with our grandchildren. Plenty of space outdoors to play, although it was a bit cold in evening but there is also plenty of space inside. We did a lot of cooking (indoor and outdoor) and everything we needed was readily available. The house was very clean and Michelle was quick to respond to questions. We loved our stay!

A weekend full of peace! This beautiful home is one of the most relaxing places we have stayed. Our host Linda was absolutely amazing. She left us farm fresh eggs in the fridge. And cared about every single detail. Definitely will book again in the future!

This was a great spot for us. Kid and dog friendly. If you are a nature lover, you’ll enjoy the property with its huge oak trees and tall pines, as well as the marsh behind the house and across the street. Very clean and cozy, and the house had everything we needed. And only 30 minutes to Savannah!

Beautiful cottage! Love the interior design and the quiet setting. The dock drew us to this house and did not disappoint. We brought our jet skis and kept them docked at the house for the weekend which was perfect and convenient. The Darien boat ramp is very small, but free and easy enough to use, and it's right around the corner from the cottage which made the whole process easy. We loved the cottage and the town and hope to return! Also, huge thanks to the host for having a dog friendly space, it was perfect for our pups. Cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you have a watercraft and can take advantage of the surrounding rivers and islands!

The park was quiet the majority of the time and Stagger was super helpful and accommodating. Was a neat experience living in a tiny home. The front door could be a little drafty when it was cold but it is a shed cabin after all. AC and heat worked great. Cell service wasn’t very good but the internet worked great. Just seemed to have to be reset every now and then. Stagger will take care of you, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return!

Great place to spend on the river. Would be nice for a fishing trip or just a quiet getaway. I will say the drive was half a mile down a dirt road which was fine, but I’d recommend a AWD vehicle during the rainy months due to the puddles and such. Lots of wildlife around, even had visitation from some squirrels. The host was very communicative and flexible with us, as well as super friendly. Would recommend for a weekend!

Gorgeous cabin with well thought out built in extra's. (Pull out drawers under the stairs with games, ect.) Built in wine rack and pull out cheese cutting board under stairs. The deck with a beautiful view of the pond, outdoor firepit, and lovely swing overlooking the pond and woods and lovely walking trails on the property were amazing. Sunrise from the cabin deck was indescribably beautiful. We loved the ambiance of the fireplace in the living room and beautiful finished carpentry in the home. Mike and Karen were the best hosts, greeting us when we arrived and very helpful with information in the area of places to eat, where to buy groceries and info on Botanical Gardens we were interested in. The location of this cabin is so peaceful and quiet. Definitely a rejuvenation for the soul. Our morning walks around the pond or trail to the road started the day with a beautiful beginning. No trains, planes, sirens or automobile sounds here. It's like another world of peace and serenity.
