Holiday rentals with a kayak in Altamaha River

Great place to stay! Very clean, spacious, and gorgeous home. Comfortable beds, cool kitchen (w/ cooking equipment), and relaxing outdoor areas. Host was clear and concise with expectations. Would stay here if I came back!

Ms Lou’s cabin and host, Daryn, made for one of our top 3 vacation rental experiences. The cabin was remote and rustic (what we were looking for), yet perfectly comfortable. Very clean with nice furnishings and linens throughout. The screen porch looking out over the marsh was why we chose it and it did not disappoint. It’s where we spent most of our time, eating, reading, relaxing and wildlife watching. Daryn was communicative, proactive and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area and nearby places to eat/ buy seafood and groceries. We highly recommend this wonderfully peaceful property and plan to visit again.

Such a beautiful home. We felt right at home. Very spacious, clean and conveniently located. The host responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. This home is on my wish list to visit again. This was my first time using an air BnB and with the experience I had with this home I would definitely use it again.

Mary place was amazing..My family and I spent Valentine's Weekend there..The place was very spacious and the elevator came in handy for my elderly Mother In Law..Mary is an amazing caring host and pleasure to meet in person.We will be returning again.

A weekend full of peace! This beautiful home is one of the most relaxing places we have stayed. Our host Linda was absolutely amazing. She left us farm fresh eggs in the fridge. And cared about every single detail. Definitely will book again in the future!

The cottage was so warm and welcoming! I thoroughly appreciated the fact that kids and animals had been kept in mind throughout the entire house. There were also supplies for dishes, laundry, and various other chores which made it much easier to enjoy our stay without needing our own supplies. The host supplied a welcome basket with incredibly helpful information about the house as well as the area! Overall, an amazing stay. We will definitely recommend it to anyone looking in the area!

Beautiful cottage! Love the interior design and the quiet setting. The dock drew us to this house and did not disappoint. We brought our jet skis and kept them docked at the house for the weekend which was perfect and convenient. The Darien boat ramp is very small, but free and easy enough to use, and it's right around the corner from the cottage which made the whole process easy. We loved the cottage and the town and hope to return! Also, huge thanks to the host for having a dog friendly space, it was perfect for our pups. Cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you have a watercraft and can take advantage of the surrounding rivers and islands!

Great place to spend on the river. Would be nice for a fishing trip or just a quiet getaway. I will say the drive was half a mile down a dirt road which was fine, but I’d recommend a AWD vehicle during the rainy months due to the puddles and such. Lots of wildlife around, even had visitation from some squirrels. The host was very communicative and flexible with us, as well as super friendly. Would recommend for a weekend!

This place was absolutely perfect and exactly what my girlfriend and I needed. MK & family we’re extremely friendly and even brought over some homemade brownies for us. They made sure that we had everything that we needed throughout the stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.
