Holiday rentals in Althen-des-Paluds

Our stay was most pleasant and peaceful. The house away from the main road is a haven of peace. It is a warm, comfortable house, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. It is also very well placed for discovering the region. Our interactions with our hosts and Chantal (the person on site) were warm and responsive. We strongly recommend this family and their home.

The house has one of the most spectacular views to either wake up to or enjoy before dinner. The pool is ideal size with lots of space for lounging. Rooms are spacious and kitchen and dining spaces can accommodate plenty people. Walking distance into town with lots of lovely restaurants, even better if you can get there for the antiques market every Saturday morning. The location of the house is incredible, and is really ideal for a short getaway to the countryside. Corinne and Patrick were very helpful and responsive at all times. Highly recommended, we will be back!

This Airbnb was what we expected, it's a shame the weather wasn't too much at the rendezvous and we couldn't enjoy the pool ( unheated). The setting was peaceful, field with animals next door. No noise. The accommodation is rather well located for visiting because it allows you to reach the Ardèche, the Gard and the Vaucluse, beautiful caves to visit about 20 minutes away. Well located for the gorges of the Ardèche ( 44 min drive from the kayak boarding points) Airbnb's host, Lydie, is a nice person.

Our stay in the House of Memories was excellent. Amenities perfectly match the description and photos. Warm welcome from Sylvie and owners available. The property is beautiful and well maintained. This is a place to recommend without hesitation!

Chris and Adele's New Year's stay in 2025 will remain in our minds as the most favorable place for reunions! The place is beautiful, clean, spacious, cozy and out of the way. Our hosts are of great humanity since without them we would not have been able to meet, our friends and ourselves, to celebrate the new year in such good conditions. We wanted to note that in addition to an ideal place, the accommodation was suitable for reunions (living room, multiple bedrooms, games room, multiple bathrooms...) and very clean. We sincerely thank Chris and Adele for allowing us to celebrate with the respect and comfort we were able to enjoy.

We loved staying here. The scenery is amazing. We learned that if we wanted to Uber around town you have to request an Uber priority. They’re the only ones who won’t cancel. It was so picturesque and a short drive to a beautiful vineyard nearby. It had plenty of room for the whole family of 5. Plus, they were very gracious hosts.
