The place was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the station (though couldn't hear the trains, so quiet) and the high street, with plenty restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Axel's communication was great, even messaging the day before to let us know we could check in early.

We enjoyed the space and the tranquility. Lovely detached cozy house outside the village, in a relaxing location, in the middle of forest slopes, meadows with horses and swampy area. A stately building with a soul, with history, full of literature and art - and yet very clean. Spacious bathrooms and nice showers. Contact with owner was pleasant, we were also allowed to use the washing machine although that was actually not the intention. Hamburg was very easy to reach by public transport. A few times an hour there is a train from Elmshorn to Hamburg Hbf

We felt very comfortable and there was nothing missing, the subway is quickly accessible and even at night you can get back quickly and well from Hamburg I'd love to stay again

A very cozy cottage behind the Elbe dyke. We felt right at home. The communication was friendly and uncomplicated, the facility left nothing to be desired. And the location directly on the Elbe is of course great. Birte's house and the apple orchard are a haven of peace and just good for the soul: you can relax there in just a few days. Thank you for the hospitality-we will be happy to come back.

We had a great time at Sonja's place! Everything was beautifully decorated and they felt super comfortable. The house was very clean and the kitchen was excellently equipped. We'd love to come back again at any time!

This is an amazing house. You can feel the love of the people living here, but it is all made perfectly available for guests. Stefanie is truly lovely and we had the best time at this house with our friend group! Well recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in Hamburg. Great apartment which had lots of space and everything you could need for a stay. Very child friendly. Rainer was an excellent host including posting us our son's blanket back which we forgot on leaving - thank you so much. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the place. Frauke gave us all the important information and the check in was super easy. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. There is a bus stop nearby, so you can get to town quickly. For shopping, a bakery, Aldi and Denns are just minutes away on foot. The accommodation is nicely decorated. Since it is in the basement, there is little daylight, but since we were on the road most of the time anyway, that didn't bother us.

We felt super comfortable and Katharina was a very nice hostess. We were in Hamburg for 4 days with our 10-month-old daughter. The area is beautiful, you can get to the train and shopping quickly. The apartment is nicely large and cozy. We will be happy to come back!

It has definitely earned it's "Top 1%" badge - I was very lucky to find this listing ☺️ Sonja is very friendly and welcoming, showing me how everything in the flat works. The apartment itself was very clean, with plenty of amenities, including lots of coffee (with numerous ways to make it) and teabags, which was lovely to enjoy on the patio space in the morning before heading out for the day. The location is perfect too - located in the vibrant and welcoming area of St. Pauli, but with excellent connections to the rest of beautiful Hamburg if you want to venture further out, as well as plenty of options locally for both restaurants and shopping. I will definitely come back to Hamburg in the future, and when I do, I hope that Sonja's place will be available again. 10/10, highly recommended - vielen Dank Sonja!

Wonderful place for our family with two small kids. Easy to toddler proof and lots of small businesses/grocery stores/laundromats to walk to. Clean and very comfortable. Quiet, too!

There were two of us in Hamburg for five days and used Steffen's apartment as a starting point for city strolls, neighborhood exploration, concerts and other activities, etc. The apartment is furnished in the style of the seventies and very homely. There is everything you need, but sometimes you have to look for it, because the storage space is scarce. The mattresses are ok and it's quiet, although you're only a ten minute walk away from the Reeperbahn. The apartment is fully carpeted, the kitchen is *very* small. Everything is available, but the preparation of hot dishes requires a lot of acrobatics. The storage space in the apartment is limited. If you have a lot of clothes, you can't put them in cabinets. A real dining or game table is not provided. The living room table is enough, but that's not for people with back problems. And last but not least, Steffen is a friendly host and takes care of everything!

Kerstin is a great hostess who was always available and provided us with many tips. Thanks for your hospitality. The apartment is modern, bright, very well maintained and quiet. We felt very comfortable and recommend it without reservation. We will be happy to come back on our next stay in Hamburg.

The hostess Maria was very friendly and accommodating. We had already made contact with each other before our vacation and during the vacation we could always contact them. She gave us tips for various things to do in the Hamburg area. Her place was in a great location , very clean and well equipped with everything needed for a vacation. Thank you so much dear Maria !

The apartment is in a great location: only about 15 minutes' walk from the train station, with the U3 or bus line 6 (about 10 minutes away) you are quickly in the city center, at the landing climbs, etc. There is also a tram that runs even faster to the train station, but we did not use it. There are many small breakfast cafes in the area. We stayed at the Alstercafe as it opened before 9 o'clock, also in the "gold piece". Tasty cakes and quiche are also available in the "heart and sugar". The apartment is in a great and quiet location and well furnished with everything needed. Great modern bathroom with walk-in shower, the small kitchen had a Nespresso machine and a hot water kettle, plenty of dishes and cutlery, etc. The living/bedroom is also nice and modernly furnished, with enough lamps and lights by the bed. There is also a smartphone docking station for charging. I found it super convenient for 3 people with appliances:) Thank you dear Romy!

We found the place well according to the description and were personally welcomed by Marit. Rooms were clean and well equipped. We found everything we expected. The area was quiet and easy to reach from the train. Feel free to come back at any time.

I can highly recommend this Airbnb! My expectations were far exceeded, and the hospitality of the hosts is truly exceptional. The apartment is furnished with great attention to detail and fully stocked with all the essentials (laundry detergent, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, coffee, tea, and more – nothing was missing!). On top of that, the place was absolutely spotless—I’ve never seen anything like it! A clear 10/10!

The place and also the communication with Stephanie was very very good. The place was much bigger and nicer expected. It was great accessible by public transport, was in a great neighborhood, was mega clean and easy to feel comfortable. I highly recommend staying there and would come back anytime!
