Family-friendly holiday rentals in Amarante

A wonderful place, perfect for disconnecting and connecting with nature. The house is well located, only 10 minutes by car from everything, but at the same time provides a sense of isolation, where the silence is absolute. The decor is extremely cosy. We loved it all, but the jacuzzi was an amazing surprise. I recommend to try it at night and enjoy the stars ✨

Plus, you can enjoy a large pool nestled in the heart of a historic garden. Welcome pack in the fridge much appreciated on arrival and baguette, hot croissants each morning placed on the door in addition to the aperitif at Porto 10 years old brought in the early evening Comfortable bedding, maintained and much appreciated hot tub that can be used at will and out of sight José is responsive and very friendly, he is a perfect host

Everything perfect, great quick host to answer and clarify all doubts, during the stay she was very attentive (booking in the restaurant to eat, giving us coffee capsules etc.). The house is equipped with everything you'll need. Fantastic pool. Very large farm, our dog also really enjoyed it. Highly recommended, if we come back to the area someday.

This is a beautiful place to stay and the host, Silvio, is very welcoming and helpful! The place itself is clean and cosy and has a lovely fire to keep toasty and warm in the evenings and we also really enjoyed using the hot tub. The gardens are beautiful and the view from the window is stunning.

It is a fabulous space to be in contact with nature and rest. The house is right in the middle of nature, with limited contact with the village. No neighbors! We were able to really rest and disconnect from the bustle of everyday life. The host, Isabel, is always available and in contact with us in order to guarantee us everything we need. The place was clean and well-maintained. Once the space is isolated, access is facilitated by Isabel, who is always available to transfer between the village and the house. I highly recommend!

The site is truly wonderful, it has easy access to the jacuzzi pool, and the sauna. lacks some indication of their use, but nothing that has been complicated or impossible. the phenomenal room! The bathroom and kitchen very clean. Generally an excellent place to chill out.

We loved staying at Americo’s house. It was in a stunning location with beautiful views as far as the eye can see of the Douro valley. The house sits in well loved landscaped gardens, with a lovely pool and outside sitting/eating area. There is a bonus area with fruit trees. The house is well furnished, cosy and comfortable. It was plenty of room for two small families. Our hosts were so kind and communicated well throughout the process. We did have problems locating the house, even following the instructions (Apple Maps sent us to the wrong location). But the hosts were patient. It’s a bit of a drive to go to larger sight seeing attractions and very windy for non-confident drivers. But for us it was perfect - we had all we needed in a 20 minute radius and drove to Porto for one day (it’s a 50 minute drive). The house and location is stunning and the hosts welcoming - I would definitely return and recommend to others!

It's been 3 days and with hosts like Mr. Carlos and D. Alice everything gets better. We love all the moments that were lived there and recommend this local accommodation to everyone at 100%. We hope to return soon

Very spacious house, very well equipped and very friendly, ideal for a stay with family and teenagers who can have their space. Dedicated parking at the house, nearby. Great welcome and cold drinks upon arrival. For swimming municipal swimming pool and river accessible by car (to the left of the bridge, opposite the picnic area)

We stayed at Pedro's house for ten days with our two sons, 8 and 10 years old. It was very nice there, the children could splash in the pool, we cooked a lot, grilled and read the terrace with hammock and the huge fantastic garden. With the canoe you could go directly from the garden to the river. Nazarè, who took care of the garden every day, told us a lot about the area and gifted us with lemons and vegetables from her own garden. We made excursions through the vineyards and also day trips to Porto and Amarante. Thank you Pedro and Nazarè for the beautiful and relaxing time!

we had a very pleasant week at ana paula's..the environment is beautiful and very quiet...yet it is very easy to access the roads leading to the Douro Valley or to Porto. the house is spacious. ana Paula is always attentive, without being intrusive. we are delighted with our week.

Above any expectation

very nice apartment with 1 bedroom and a living room kitchen, very functional and very well-equipped. There is a private car park closed by an electorized gate. This home also has a small garden, an outdoor kitchen and a swimming pool of a beautiful volume. I recommend without hesitation!!

Stay beyond our expectations. The property was for us alone, many vines and fruit trees, electric gate, in complete safety. We feasted on the plum lemons from the orchards. The views are fantastic among the Portuguese mountains. The pool is perfect for us alone and always this view of the mountains and vineyards. a real paradise of tranquility. The air-conditioned house is very well equipped and clean. The shower room is a little small on the other hand. The huge courtyard with living room and garden table allowed us to enjoy these warm summer evenings. To visit, however, it takes a little more km than we had thought of. We did not have the chance to see the owner, however Manuel was always very responsive for us. Thank you for the wonderful stay near Porto. PS: For people with light sleep, think of the Kies balls because at night a lot of barking, but that doesn't take away all the charm of this property.

It was a great stay, the apartment is great, and Filipe is always responsive. A superb view of Amarante and the surrounding area, an accessible and clean pool. Very good restaurant not far away run by Filipe. We hope to be able to come back next year.

Osvaldo, Madalena and Carla, 3 super friendly and helpful hosts who provided an amazing stay, always worried about collaborating so that nothing was missing. The space is very pleasant, consisting of rustic houses on a farm in the middle of nature in an environment of tranquility perfect for those who like to relax away from the confusion of big cities. a great breakfast, a wonderful pool with great views, a waterfront river, river paths along the river, good wines, etc... Kind people, simple, hard to find nowadays. Everything is great and impeccable from reception to departure. Green space, fresh air, vineyards, swimming pool. All fantastic. Definitely repeating.

Wonderful accommodation, plenty of space, nice and clean, it accommodated everyone’s needs, the house had everything needed to feel at home and the views are amazing, very peaceful and quiet.
