Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Archanes

We had a wonderful stay at Irene & Emmanouel's place. The two hosts were very warm and helpful and were there to help at all times. The children were able to access the beach directly from the apartment and enjoyed this great child-friendly beach very much. The location right on the water is incredibly beautiful and you feel like you're on vacation in a few seconds. The apartment is just as great as described and there is everything you need. We loved a fully equipped children's room, beach toys in front of the door and much more. Thank you very much for everything

We had a 4 night stay at this place in September 2024. Nadine picked us up at the agreed meeting point and showed us the way to the accommodation. For those who want to relax in the middle of olive groves for a few days, this is just the thing. Restaurants can be reached in 5-10 minutes by car, supermarkets and bakers are also close to the car. We were completely satisfied and felt very comfortable in the house.

We just returned home from our trip to southern Crete, and we feel so blessed to have stayed at such a beautiful, comfortable, and well located home while we were there. We enjoyed everything about the property, and Heike's hospitality was over the top! The home is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a getaway, and it was located close to many different restaurants, villages and beaches (all within 10min to an hour to reach). Absolutely 5 stars across the board and we hope to stay again in the future. Thank you for everything:)

Wow! Emmett's place is just stunning. The pictures definitely don't do it justice. If you are looking for a quiet retreat with absolutely stunning scenery to help you unwind, this is the perfect spot. It is designed so beautifully, with open spaces, blending with the surroundings (rather than being an eye sore like some of the other places we saw). We couldn't get enough of the view of the sea and the mountains from the living space - it felt like an amazing painting. Swimming in the pool with that scenery was an absolute dream. We are a couple with a 4-month baby, and the main house was perfect for us. Emmett was very hospitable, making sure we had everything we need, and very responsive when we had issues or were looking for suggestions for places. The area is great - an easy walk to the village of Sivas, with plenty of options for restaurants. Several lovely beach options as well, just 10 - 15 minutes away. Our only regret is not having stayed longer!

The house Achladia is beautifully located and you have a fantastic view from the terrace. The house is a little remote from the hustle and bustle and therefore basically just right for those seeking peace and quiet. Isabelle lives next door and is always available by phone. She is very nice and has valuable tips for the area. We would definitely book the place again.

We had the pleasure of spending our holidays in this cozy accommodation in a charming, quiet village in Crete. The location in the mountains offers a peaceful atmosphere that was good for our relaxation, away from tourism. The place itself was extremely convenient and well-equipped. The cozy decor made us feel comfortable. The tranquility of the surroundings was simply heavenly – ideal to escape the stress of everyday life. A car is important to explore the surroundings and the many beautiful sights. So you can enjoy the authentic Cretan culture and breathtaking nature to the fullest. Overall, I highly recommend this place! A perfect place for anyone looking for peace and coziness in a natural and mountainous environment. Thank you for the hospitality and great communication!

My wife and I recently spent a couple of nights at Archanes Village, and we were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. The comfort of the accommodations was outstanding, with beautifully furnished rooms that combined traditional charm and modern amenities. The aesthetics of the property are stunning, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The delicious breakfast was a highlight, offering fresh local delights each morning that made our start to the day perfect. The convenience of free parking made our stay hassle-free, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful surroundings. Overall, our stay at Archanes Village exceeded our expectations. very clean modern apartment very nice equipped with everything,air conditioning, kitchen equipped with washing machine, comfortable bed,only flaw is the lack of a dishwasher. around the house there were several cats and also 4 adorable dogs that live in that area, but do not be afraid they are very sweet and harmless, we gave them food throughout our stay and they always had parties, if you can please do the same, in clay there is no real conception of companion animals and even less of the stray dogs abandoned to themselves, a small gesture can make a difference, thank you very much.

Would definitely recommend staying at Asmani as it was exactly as the advertised. Spotless and modern but keeping with the traditional architecture of the area.

The place is very nice and the sea right in front of the terrace. During our stay we were in the flight path of the airport, which did not bother us further. Our hosts were very helpful and also ordered a taxi to my grandma to the airport. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

In all, we are satisfied with our stay. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely professional and friendly nature of the hosts - great praise to the two of them! We found the apartment in a good and above all very clean condition. New condition, modern furnished, air-conditioned, windows incl. Fly screens, comfortable beds and equipped with all necessary utensils. In addition, the apartment has an outdoor shower (separate room that can be entered from the outside) and a small laundry room with a washing machine. We were also allowed to enjoy some guest gifts (water, beer, cocktails, nuts, etc). It is also possible to use the pools in the opposite hotel free of charge. The only negative point is the not optimal location of the apartment. Since the property is quite audible and the terrace is facing the street, you get quite a lot of traffic (especially the many tour buses could be heard).

What a great apartment!! So clean and tidy, everything you need is available. Even groceries in fridge! In between, there will be cleaning again and replacing linens/towels. Communication is very easy and friendly. Highly recommended!! However, you really need a car because you are not within walking distance of e.g. city or beach.

A very nice apartment with everything you need. Right on the beach. View from the balcony is simply fantastic, we enjoyed having breakfast there every morning. You could easily park your car on the street. Would book the apartment any time again without ifs and buts.

We have stayed in many Airbnbs over the years and this was the best! The apartment was definitely luxurious and made us feel like we were in the fanciest hotel. The location was great, very near the center of town with a fabulous coffee shop just a block away. Best of all was the suggestion in the information packet of who to call if you want a private tour. It is hard to describe how wonderful Antonis was. He took us to various places on the island on two different days and stopped along the way at various places, explaining the history and significance of the site. He has a warm and engaging personality and is by far the best tour guide that we ever had. I highly recommend him to everyone. Thank you to the host for recommending him!

Once again, we had a great time. The location of the place is close to everything, making the stay even more pleasant. Once again, the space is thoughtful and clean.

Audrey was really helpful sorting out transfers and a shopping for when we arrived. The villa and pool area is decorated to a very high standard. We would thoroughly recommend visiting it is a great holiday location

Perfect stay! Host: John was amazing gave us lots of recommendations and made check in and out easy Location: The location is great just 15/20 min drive from Heraklion airport and town. There is a local beach and restaurants that are walkable from the villa which are lovely but if you want to get the most of out of your stay I highly recommend getting a car. The Villa: Honestly the villa was even nicer than the pictures you will not be disappointed! Beds super comfortable aircon amazing! You will feel so well rested. Sitting on the balcony outside the bedroom drinking a coffee in the morning with sea view was absolutely bliss!! The villa had everything you could possibly need. Travel tip: This might be different at different times of year (we stayed in Sept) but outside there are a lot of mosquitoes, John does provide bug repellent but if you are particularly prone definitely bring an extra .

We held a strategy offsite with a total of 11 colleague at Villa GG. The locations offers lots of opportunities to sit all together or use different terraces or the large garden to retreat to work alone or in smaller groups. Our host was super responsive, very friendly and helpful for the entirety of our stay. Recommendations for restaurants, transfer arrangements and early check-in/late check-out were provided. We had an amazing time and Villa GG and thank our host for his contribution.

A fantastic villa with a wonderful host. Emmanouil was great from booking, with a few questions we had before we arrived, to check in, during our stay and also for checking out. So pleasant and helpful. The Villa was really clean and modern, well furnished and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this villa!

Lovely vila in a quiet area. We had a wonderfull week at the vila in October and enjoyed the vila and pool as a familly. The vila is new and very nice with a good view. Host is so friendly and responsive with any queetions or problems. We would go back:-)

Great villa perched up on a hillside, with stunning sea view. You definitely need a hire car as nothing much within walking distance but this was clear when we booked. Three lovely bedrooms, 2 en-suite. The outdoor kitchen is a really good feature. Friendly host who was flexible with check in and out times. Thank you for a lovely stay!
