Christmas at Villa Lovisi and they provided a Christmas tree and fizz. Villa was really spacious, paid for heated pool and well worth it. Plenty of equipment to make Christmas dinner, nice views from roof terrace but could do with some comfy chairs up there to make the most of it. A few restaurants in Sonnenland but if you have a car, 5 mins to main part of Maspalomas with plenty of bars and restaurants. Host was friendly and approachable. nearby highly recommend Puerto Mogan and Aqua land was brilliant as was inflatables at Amadores. A perfect Christmas away from UK dark and drearyness.

A truly 5-star experience! Our stay at Yolanda’s place was absolutely amazing. She is the sweetest and most welcoming host we have ever met. From the moment we arrived—very late in the evening—she greeted us warmly and even had food prepared for us, which was such a thoughtful gesture, especially with small children. The house itself is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a luxury stay, with every detail carefully taken care of. The pool area is spacious, cozy, and very well-maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. Yolanda’s hospitality made our stay feel like a 5-star hotel experience. She took great care of us, always making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a place that offers both comfort and outstanding hospitality, this is the one! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Highly recommended villa in a quiet location - exactly as described and very well equipped. We enjoyed the pool (great temperature), the garden and the outside dining space and also braved the much colder main pool serving the complex - invariably, we were the only ones there. Small supermarkets and some restaurants are within easy walking distance, but we also enjoyed evening walks to the lighthouse and seafront, where there are shops and restaurants galore. This only takes about 20-25 minutes one way if you stick to the (dry) canal path. We hired a car, which was useful for big supermarket shops and exploring the island. Excellent communication from Colin and Beverley, who looks after the villa, was incredibly helpful.

Wow, this home is just amazing. Large rooms, high ceilings and a great location. You won’t have an easy time finding such a wonderful home to stay in.

The place was as described in the pictures. Everything was clean and tidy. The place is quiet and close to the amenities reachable by car nearby. If I can give a tip, I would put some board games and maybe a mattress for the pool. Everything else was perfect! The host was also very specific about all the directions and very helpful. I'd be happy to go back... I recommend it!

Extraordinary house with breathtaking views of the mountains and nearby villages. Everything was spotless and Maria and her husband was always very attentive and responsive to any subject. I highly recommend it because the villa is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the island and the pool surrounded by a beautiful flower garden is a real plus.

Perfect! We spent a few days with incredible friends, for the children to play there is a lot of space and for adults also with the foosball and pimpón table, there was also a trunk full of games, we did not enjoy the pool for the time but it looked very appealing, it has hammocks for all and two tables with chairs in the garden, the interior of the house is impeccable with all the comforts and they left us some details in the kitchen that is appreciated, I can not put any problems, we had some inconvenience and they came as soon as possible to solve it so that very grateful with the treatment and attention paid. We'll be coming back for sure! Thank you very much for everything!

Such a fantastic stay! Josè went above and beyond to make sure my dad had a fabulous 60th birthday. He sourced our shop, beautiful wine and allowed us an early check in. Thank you for everything, it’s a very special villa!

Thank you Lara and family for a wonderful, memorable holiday! This villa is better than the pictures, so clean and spacious. Lara gave us a full tour of the house and explained how everything worked when we arrived. She was also very quick to deal with any queries we had. There are a number of places to relax in the villa and we found it to be child friendly. Mercadona deliver groceries or there are supermarkets nearby. The dunes are within walking distance and so are some lovely shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend Lara as a host and this villa as a great holiday destination. Thanks again!

Everything was like descriped and the pictures show everything well. It is a bit remote which was fine as we knew and wanted that. Carlos responded quickly to any issues we had. So overall we were very happy and we had a very cosy weak. Thanks. Jon Bjorn and friends

Beautiful place, peaceful location and very tentative host! Can absolutely recommend this place!

Fernando was an excellent host- really responsive when we needed anything and very happy to sort all things quickly. We also managed to meet him briefly and he was incredibly friendly and lovely to speak to. The villa is FANTASTIC for families or large groups- eveyone felt like they had they're own privacy but the communal rooms were nice and big when we all wanted to be together for meals etc. Pool was cold this time of year but there was an option to heat for a fee- we didn't heat it and the kids had a great time anyway. Genuinely a brilliant stay- close (driving) to grocery shops. You would definitely need a car to stay here. thank you so much Fernando!

Our family of six had a lovely stay at this wonderful property! We really liked the peaceful vibe of Pasito Blanco and its proximity to Meloneras and Maspolamas. Elena was a great host and very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend the property and Elena as a host!

Alexis was a great host. Communication went smoothly and he responded very quickly. The villa was amazing. There were many nice places to sit with the family or quietly read a book alone. We enjoyed our stay there. The cleaning service was fantastic. We would definitely go back to this villa!

When we arrived at our first vacation destination it wasn’t what we had expected - so we left. We searched for a new place and stumbled on Arno’s beautiful villa - so lucky we did!! Arno was very nice and accommodating - especially in the position we were in. It was rather late in the evening when we first made contact. But it was no problem for him - he made his villa ready for us and we could move in the next morning. A beautiful place to unwind and relax with all the emenities one could need. Arno was in the house next door and was readily available if needed but he left us completely to do our thing - we had complete privacy. I would highly recommend this property - we are already looking forward to our next vacation. A real pleasure!

We had a wonderful stay at this great cottage in Gran Canaria! The house offers absolute privacy and is equipped with everything you need. There were plenty of towels and a bottle of sparkling wine in the wine fridge was even waiting for us to welcome us. We enjoyed our vacation and can highly recommend this house!

Our stay at Ruben's villa at Salobre Golf Resort was very pleasant. The handover was uncomplicated, and Ruben was always friendly, attentive and easily accessible. The villa corresponded to the pictures, although it is a bit outdated in some places and seems in need of renovation here and there. Still, the value for money is perfectly fine. Particularly noteworthy is the simple and flexible late checkout made possible by Ruben, which made our departure day much more relaxed. Salobre Golf Resort is a quiet and safe complex, ideal for recreation. Access to the nearby hotel was hassle-free. However, a lot is being built at the moment, so you should be prepared for construction noise, which hardly bothered us. A small point of criticism was the (dog)odor in the garden in the midday sun, which did not disappear despite water. Overall, however, we had a great stay and can recommend the villa despite minor deficiencies.

We had an amazing time at Jose’s house. It is located on the best coast lines of the island and in the small valley there is very peaceful, and a beautiful scenery. We especially enjoyed the beautiful terrace and the pool. The house is spacious, clean and very well suited for a larger family. It is definitely recommended to have a car available when you stay in this house. You could walk to the closest supermarket, but it is properly 2.5 km each way. Would love to stay here again.

This was a perfect stay. If I was being super critical then I might suggest updating the dishwasher and cooker, but otherwise it was a great place.

It's beautifully situated right on the beach. The place is clean and very nicely decorated. Since we had a rental car, everything was easy to reach. Adrian was quick and accommodating to any question. Basically, everything was great again anytime. And the ideal place to just shut down.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa, we went for a week (2 adults 2 kids) and we loved it. It has a small pool in the villa itself but 50 yds away from the house there's a communal pool that's heated. The temperature was perfect for the kids. The pool also catches the last of the sun up just before sun set. We loved: - The resort in general, it was lovely for a run in the mornings - There's a bar at the 5* hotel across the resort that we used a couple of times which is really nice - The house was lovely with 3 bathrooms with 3 showers - It has laundry facilities and an okay kitchen for cooking Things to note: - You need to have a car to drive everywhere ideally, it's a large resort and it's a mile or so of driving to get to the villa itself - There's currently still a lot of construction going on (didn't bother us though) - It's a golf resort, so green keepers do start early (again, didn't bother us) - The wifi is pretty flaky, couldn't handle work video calls
