Lovely, very clean, modern, spacious. A well thought out design for a bit of luxury at the end of your day of exploring. Amazing views. Highlights nearby: beautiful woodland 1km North of Strachur and the view from the TV mast, ‘The Smiddy’ and the friendly people who told us about great walks, a boat trip on the loch and amazing food at ’Inver’. Bring kitchen consumables. You will need a car to get to delis/supermarkets, but there are a couple of small shops in Strachur.

We booked this place for a family get together and we could not have had a better time. The house is beyond expectations and was very spacious for our large family. The facilities and rooms were well equipped and very clean. Lots of amenities were available. Susan and her mother came to visit us and they were extremely friendly and helpful with anything we asked them. The location, views, rooms and the host are all 5 stars. I definitely will be coming here again and would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

I would be hard pressed to remember a better equipped house. the hosts had literally thought of everything-from crabbing buckets to pizza cutters. on top of this of this to house was absolutely pristine and everything was very new and extremely well laid out and decorated. this is a fantastic base for up to two families to explore the local area. two minutes from the beach and from the local hotel. can't recommend it highly enough!

Beautiful property that was exactly what we were looking for: very peaceful with beautiful views. The house has everything you could need and was spotlessly clean. Kim was really responsive to any queries and gave great advice on the local areas amenities. The stand out part of the stay was the views from the house, the sunrise and set were spectacular and we loved sitting on the decking and enjoying the changing scenery overlooking Gigha, Islay and Jura.

Great stay, lovely pad with lots of room. 15 min walk to Prestwick golf club and near the town’s pubs. Perfect for a golf trip. Thanks!

Just back from an unforgettable weekend away with close friends. Katherine and Adam are brilliant at communicating up front what you can expect when you arrive and providing instructions for the house and on recommending lots of local things to do. The old church is stunning and better than described. All amenities were great and the lodges in particular were fantastic. Hosts were responsible and we had a great time outside on the south facing outside area in front of the fire. We’d love to come back another time! Thanks for having us.

This was a wonderful place to stay. There were 6 of us, and it was the perfect size. We also used the kitchen to make multiple big meals with no problems— so many pots and pans and utensils! We had a cozy night by the fire (in a beautiful fireplace!) drinking whisky. Tobermory is a magical place and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It’s worth the price!!

Just home from a fabulous stay in this gorgeous house. The views are truly breathtaking. House is well appointed with everything you could wish for. Kids loved the pool table, and great to be able to walk to the golf course. Beautiful walks from the house along to the light house. And short walk down shops, restaurants and pub. Could not fault this house and location, we were so lucky to have amazing weather too. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Beautiful beach house and the pool was awesome for the kids!

Celebrated my husband’s 40th with our close friends and the house was perfect. Lovely and warm on arrival, house was really clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms spotless. The hot tub was lovely, clean and hot on arrival! Overall the views, the space and the ease of check in and how lovely the staff were made this one of the best weekends! We would definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Great location, good restaurant onsite

The house was brilliant. Had everything you need for a stay. The host had gone out of his way to decorate with Christmas decorations and even included a wee hamper for us. Everything was clean. Lots of bars, restaurants and walks nearby.

Perfect stay at this hidden gem in Innellan. My family and I had a wonderful time here, the house is absolutely stunning with so many beautiful and quirky touches around the place. It's spacious and ideal for a large group spending time together. The outside of the house is just as beautiful and if you are lucky enough to get the weather there is so much to explore on the grounds, especially for little ones. I was anxious about our 1 year old being let loose but he was right at home within minutes and slept very well in his own room. We ate out at The Osborne and The Royal in Innellan which were both excellent in terms of food and customer service. We explored Benmore Botanic Gardens, Ardentinny beach/forest and the town of Dunoon. Some of our party also played golf at Innellan and Cowal courses. I would recommend Lisa's place to families and friend groups alike, you won't be disappointed! We hope to return someday!
