Sue was so warm and friendly and made sure we were comfortable on arrival, explained everything that was needed.

I needed a quiet location where I could have some assistance when needed and to be able to come and go when I needed to. There was always someone there to help if I needed it and my daughter and I felt we could relax when we needed to do that too.

Penny was a helpful and responsive host. The accommodation was exactly as described and access was easy. Firle is a beautiful and peaceful village with easy access to the Firle estate and the South Downs Way, making it perfect for walking. The Cabin was warm and cosy, with everything required for an enjoyable stay. The surroundings were beautiful and the price was excellent, giving really great value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much, Penny.

Great stay. As described and as per photos. We stayed here as it was close to the eurotunnel. Host was very friendly and helpful when we arrived and even showed our daughters some activity crafts to play with. Thanks very much, we’ll stay again.

Perfect for a short break with my mum....we both loved the place and the fact that it was so well situated with loads to do within a short drive. Claire was friendly and always very responsive to any questions. All on a level, which was great for my mum. Lovely decor....we liked the art, especially the album covers on the wall. Beautiful to have the sun flooding the whole place when we returned late afternoon...a bit chilly still in the April eve to fully appreciate the beautiful terrace outside, but we did sit out a little and enjoy the garden. Thoughtful touches such as milk and lovely bathroom/shower products. We have already recommended to someone else and may well be back!

We loved the place. We felt like we were at home. The house itself has got that welcoming feeling that when you’re inside you just wanna stay indoor. It was warm and cozy. We loved the scenery outside as well.

It’s not often that you find exactly what your looking for, but this time we were lucky. Vivienne made our stay absolutely amazing, warm, friendly, lovely countryside and above all she cares….. about her guests, the environment and that you just have the most relaxing time. The stable was spotlessly clean, stocked with everything we needed and made us and our dogs very welcome. We would return in a heartbeat, just perfect THANKYOU!

Had a fantastic stay at Robin’s Airbnb! The place was spotless, comfortable, and in a great location. Robin is a wonderful host—responsive, helpful, and made my trip even better. Highly recommend!

We had such a great stay at The Annex. The photos on here do not really give it justice. It is such a beautiful, well thought out space with everything that you might need. I particularly liked the touches of nice hand soaps, shampoo etc. It was spotlessly clean and felt like a home from home right away. The location of the house is peaceful and private. Lewes is a lovely town with some great cafes, shops and parks. We would definitely stay again if returning to the area.

Anne’s cabin is absolutely perfect for a trip to Whitstable and Tankerton - spotless, cozy, and in a brilliant location. Her communication was exceptional, going above and beyond, and the homemade cake she left was such a thoughtful touch. 10/10, will definitely book again!

Had such a lovely stay here with my family and our dog! Plenty of space inside for what we wanted! It was exactly as described and great enclosed space for our dog to roam with lots of walking trails. Had great weather so the BBQ and fire pit came in handy! Secluded location but host sent really clear instructions so made it easy to find and self check in was easy too! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Had a lovely welcome from Caroline amd the dogs .The accommodation was just perfect for us with everything you could need .Super clean and the beds were so comfortable. Two roomy bedrooms and comfy chairs in both .Lovely views from the back of the property with chairs ,table and parasol. Didn't use the Tvs but 1 in each bedroom. We visted Faversham about 15 minute drive and Whitstable about 30 minute drive during our stay .Highly recommend both .We didn't try the local pub but its a short walk away ,though maybe take a torch if returning at night .Can't wait to go back. Perfect for our needs. We only needed a 1 night stay close to Gusbourne vineyard for lunch there, this was perfect. Jo was very kind and helpful and made sure we got to the vineyard, we walked back to Appledore in beautiful sunshine. It's also worth mentioning the Black Lion pub, went there in the evening and had a great and reasonably priced meal.

Nice place, well maintained,clean and tidy. Walking distance to small town centre was ideal, about 10 minutes max. Peaceful area. Would stay again and would recommend. Always nice to make a place your 'headquarters' instead of a hotel room and this was absolutely ideal.

Absolutely loved our weekend - the most gorgeous place to stay with beautiful garden views. Truly such a boutique & luxury feel with incredible decor and wonderful little touches. Emma was a lovely host - beyond helpful & kind. Can’t wait to book again!

WOW! I would move in tomorrow. Melanie's place was absolutely beautiful. Although on a main road, once your inside you would never know. So peaceful and views were beautiful. I wished we stayed longer. Will definitely recommend and be back. Dovecoat pub just down the road is very welcoming and friendly if you fancy going out.

Really enjoyed our time here. The space felt larger than it had looked from the photos and the garden aspect and birdsong exceeded my expectations. Very clean, quiet and comfortable and a well equipped kitchen. A fantastic location to get away from it all and a great base to explore the local area - Seven Sisters cliff walk, the South Downs, the delightful village of Alfriston and Lewes.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful home set in a stunning location! Neil and Jenny went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, even kindly providing us with additional cooking equipment when needed. We can’t wait to visit again!

Great little home away from home. Lovely high end property, very clean and in a great location, with added extras. We were also able to walk straight from the property into the Kent countryside. Really enjoyed our lunch at the Flying Horse, which was recommended by Sonia. Also found a lovely community shop 5 minutes from the property, where you could enjoy a lovely cup of coffee, baked treat or take a beautiful plant home. Looking forward to returning.

What an ideal weekend for a lovely get away! I treated my partner and our kids to this for Mother’s Day and it was such a treat. The surrounding is beautiful. We woke up to deer walking across the surroundings and lovely peaceful noises around us. Anna and her partner were great and communicated very well… they made us feel very much at ease! I’d recommend this for families… our little one was blown away at the selection of toys in the lounge and bedroom! He was a very happy little chappy!!

Really peaceful place with beautiful views of lake & surrounded by nature Nice local pub & near enough to beaches Nice place to relax read a book or get on the lake to try & catch a Carp or kayak & have fun ! What a lovely find, sadly we only stayed one night prior to our Shuttle crossing. Michael was super helpful and communicated really well. We had clear instructions on how to find it, the road was very narrow so a bit tight in a big car. The cabin was clean, tidy, lovely and quiet and with everything you could possibly need - really well equipped kitchen and spotless bathroom and Netflix in the tv if needed. Comfy furniture and all walking distance from Hythe centre within 5 minutes. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
