Abdel is a great host, always available to help. the apartment has a great location in Aswan. It is clean and comfortable.

Fawzy was such a nice host and even offered more services than it was written his site. It has really everything you need to be comfortable, a good equipped kitchen, good WiFi, clean sheets, etc. it has a lovely view to the Nile in a very secluded area far away from all the activity. I totally recommend to stay at his place also if you desire a more local experience and he is always going to help you out!

Staying at Saif’s home on Elephantine Island was one of the most meaningful experiences of my journey through Egypt. Saif is a man of extraordinary kindness, humility, and depth, and his home embodies raha—a sense of peace, rest, and tranquility. As an artist and man of faith, Saif approaches hosting with intention, seeing it as an act of connection and service. He takes great joy in preparing meals for his guests, turning a simple act into one that nurtures both body and soul. When I worried about reaching the airport for a 6:40 am flight, Saif went above and beyond, arranging transport with the help of friends. His hospitality felt like being cared for by family. Saif’s home is more than a place to stay; it’s a refuge where you feel genuinely welcome. In a world where travel can feel transactional, Saif reminds you of the deeper reasons we journey—to connect, grow, and witness the beauty of human kindness. The true magic lies in the experience itself.

Rana's place was very nice to stay in Aswan . The host helped secure a ride to the place and we were warmly welcomed and offered hot beverages by sweet Fatima ! The apt is simple but clean and had what we needed. It was a very short stay, we just slept there over night. The beds were comfortable and the whole place peaceful. Great view from the terrace.

Really enjoyed our stay. Beside river with view of the Nile. Good restaurants near by. Abdollah was great host, helped getting trips organized and advising us on true cost of things. Hotel and surroundings felt very safe in a community on Eliphantine island where people know each other and are really friendly. Ferry across to the Town of Aswan is 3 minute walk away.
