Holiday rentals in Aveiro

Cristina is the sweetest host! She met us in person even though we arrived late at night. Her home is so welcoming and is beautifully furnished with a comfortable living room, expansive kitchen and comfortable beds. In front of the house is a lovely water view to watch the sunrise, and the private beach behind the house is perfect for watching the sunset. We loved this house so much that we kept adding more days and used it as a home base to visit: Porto, the Duoro Valley, Nazare, Aveiro, Coimbra & Tomar. This is one of our favorite Airbnbs ever!

We went to spend a few days with the family at Praia da Barra and we couldn't have chosen a better space, Alexandra's house surpassed everything that was described, a beautiful house, very spacious and with all the amenities. Very well located, next to the beach and the Lighthouse. Cafes, restaurants and supermarket nearby. We were delighted! Alexandra was always available, sending suggestions and answering questions that arose. And the whole area of Praia da Barra, Costa Nova next door and a short hop from Aveiro. A wonderful vacation!

Cazita's Place was great. We were allowed to arrive a couple of hours earlier than check-in. Zeta gave us the keys at the door to the house. It is much bigger than it looks from the outside. Hardly any passing traffic on the narrow road at the front. We were also allowed to leave our bags at Cazita's Office - 4 min walk away on the last day as we had a late bus to the airport. Nearly everything in Aveiro is walkable from the house. We fully recommend you going to the walk way at Passadiços de Aveiro . It's probably about 60 mins walk away or a short Uber drive which cost us less than 4 euros. But, the Boarded walk is exposed across the salt flats so wear the right clothing. If we were ever in the area again we would book to stay. You should make sure you get the free tourist leaflets at the start of your visit from the Tourist Information Centre. They offer various free walking trails that will enhance your visit.

Spacious pristine apartment overlooking canal. Lovely small balcony so you can watch the boats sail by. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need and lots of coffee pods and dishwasher tablets provided. Ely and Fatima were so helpful and very pleasant to deal with, also flexible and prompt.

Cris' house is fantastic. Spacious , clean, with all needed amenities. .The location is just between the beach and the Ria area with all the restaurants. A quiet street super well located. It was 6 of us and there was plenty of space for more. Definitely want to come back.

We recommend Joana's house, it's just like the listing. To highlight the cleanliness, everything is very careful and new. It's a very nice and comfortable home. Ideal place for families. It is located within a private development that is very well cared for. Joana is very friendly and communication has been very easy.

We had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable. The pool is perfect, the kitchen well equipped and the rooms with separate bathrooms are perfectly adequate. The only point of criticism is the worn condition of the bicycles and the ping pong table.
