Holiday rentals with lake access in Avoca Beach

The house is very spacious and bright. Just across the road from the lake where you can have a nice picnic and watch the sunset. also just one block from the shops and cafes. Good to have a garage for two cars available. Janelle was very helpful and responsive.

Our holiday at Helen's lakeside property was absolutely fantastic! The location could not have been more perfect, right in front of a serene lake with picture-perfect scenery. The view from the property was breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay. The spacious outdoor deck allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty around us, whether we were having meals, playing games, or simply soaking in the view. Inside, the house was just as impressive—spacious, immaculate, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that Helen has taken great care in maintaining the property, and it made our family feel right at home. What made this holiday even more special was the fact that it was a multi-generational trip with our children and grandchildren. It was an incredible place in a wonderful location. To a person, everyone that attended commented on what a sensational home it is. The fishing was a hit, even if the fish weren’t accomodating. 10/10

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Louise’s lovely home and would recommend to all. Everything was well thought out and had every amenity we could need. Not to mention the view was a gorgeous treat to wake up to!

Great place and great vibes of the surroundings.

The place is very cosy, clean, really close to the water. On arrival, the look of the inside of the house is impressive plus the stunning view of Lake Macquarie. The place condition is exactly how it is described in the Airbnb ad. We will definitely stay there again if there is an opportunity in the future.

We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend on the Hawkesbury at Stephanie's house. It had everything we needed and we particularly enjoyed sitting on the verandah at the front watching the boats cruise past. Beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and a BBQ too. We hope to stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Vicki’s airbnb - conveniently located and affordable. Beautiful ocean views and walkable distance to the Entrance restaurants and shops. Great fishing spots also within walking distance (which my partner & dad loved!). The late check-out time was really appreciated. Would stay again, Cheers :)

I had an amazing stay at Elizabeth and Dom’s place! The house is perfectly located right on Terrigal Beach, with incredible views and direct beach access. It’s an easy trip from Sydney, whether you’re driving or taking the train, which made getting there a breeze. Elizabeth and Dom were fantastic hosts—very attentive and thoughtful. They even welcomed us with a bottle of wine and coffees at a local pastry shop, which was such a nice touch! I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Elizabeth and Dom!

What can I say…..spectacular views. The photos do not do justice to this property. We were very comfortable during our stay and had everything you could possibly need in the property….and great parking. We were made feel very welcome by Sue. She was super friendly, a great communicator and more than accommodating. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Thank you Sue.

This Airbnb was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The apartment was surprisingly spacious and despite being in a convenient location, it was wonderfully quiet, ensuring peaceful nights and restful mornings. We loved the calming atmosphere and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a truly relaxing getaway.

Peter's place is fantastic. the roof top spa is a highlight. the location is amazing. unit fully equipped with everything you need. I went for a girls weekend and we all loved the space. super easy to walk to the main street with restaurants and cafes. the only thing that I would mention is that we had to buy toilet paper and garbage bags as the 2 supplied wasn't enough for the weekend. but apart from that everything else was amazing. would definitely visit again

Adrian’s place was so homely and comfortable. The beds were so soft and we didn’t want to leave that lounge! We had just the right amount of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Adrian was very generous and thoughtful. Even leaving ice blocks in the freezer for the kids! The pool and games room was a hit with the kids. Great for the couple of rainy days we got during our stay. This was probably the most comfortable air b n b experience we’ve had. Everything ran smoothly thanks to a great host.

We felt home away from home at Frank and Lynn's place. Very friendly hosts with a personal welcome. They were open to feedback and handled straight away when I gave them some tips. Immaculately clean accommodation, all amenities you need and beyond. Great location and can walk to local shop in Killcare. They gave us local tips. Place is very private and if you need assistance or have questions just ask them upstairs. We highly recommend to stay at this place with very friendly hosts who deliver genuine hospitality. Beautiful cottage, right by the lake, nice and quiet. Clean, comfy bedroom. I really enjoyed my stay here and Jimmy was really good, came straight away when there was problem with the wifi. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Birdsong Cottage was a lovely spot to relax over summer. Easy walk to the beach and great location. The beds were super comfortable and house had lots of character with Jan’s trinkets and mementos. Jan was a great host and very responsive.

Can't beat that view from the deck. Hard to believe you're only 10 minutes away from all amenities.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful stay at this newly renovated beach cottage! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt just like home. Mark and Hannah was an amazing host, very accommodating and even let us check out an hour later so our son could have his morning nap. Such a thoughtful touch! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Kate’s Airbnb in Bonnells Bay! The property is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful water view and a private jetty that made for the perfect spot to relax. Our kids had a blast with the selection of games and outdoor activities, and the kayaks and SUP boards provided a fun way to explore the bay. The house itself is comfortable and well-equipped, and Kate was a wonderful host – welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway by the water!

Pavla & Luke's place is absolutely beautiful with homley vibes, beautiful big yard, BBQ area with access to the lake and kayaks provided. we still took our own as we are a family of 6. clear instructions to get inside and very responsive hosts. Loved the kitchen it had everything you needed. The lounge was so comfy for a pull out and extra large!! could fit myself, 2 adult kids, my teenager & 10 year old for our movie night with spectacular views of the lake right from the lounge. Shower was a plus with amazing water pressure. Location was awesome with a park only 2min walk away and great fishing/ kayaking spots. I only gave 4 stars for price as we got a lot of rubbish washing up from the lake (we cleaned) not from the hosts property, just coming in from the tied/neighbours and bad smells blowing in from the lake every now and then. Washing machine & dryer were not plugged in, I didn't want to move them around to find the plug. Board games were missing a lot of pieces (chess)

Very receptive and warm hosts. Would love to recommend anyone who wants a nice cosy room lace besides a wonderful location which is the huge beautiful lakes just adjacent to the property
