Mr. Tadashi is very kind and welcoming, such as a friend who hasn't seen it for a long time, the house environment and amenities are quite nice, the neighborhood is quiet, highly recommended.

Beautiful place! Hidden away up a hill near the viewing point and park. Very serene. You ideally would need a car to get about easily to and from the place. Car park is directly opposite with loads of parking at the park area 30m away. Huge TV with all the common apps and three large single beds on a mezzanine level that is separate to the futon sleeping area. Very clean and well kept. beautiful big bath and shower area. We slept very well due to it being so quiet. I wish we had booked longer there and did 10 days in Shikoku is my only regret. I imagine in late spring, early summer it is really nice.

There is a separate self contained garage There is a convenience store about 5 minutes by car near the house source and it is very peaceful around Clean inside the house, bed and duvet cover clean and comfortable ~ It was very thoughtful to supply bath towels and washcloths that exceeded the number of guests staying Recommended for travellers considering this place

Hire a historic temple for over 400 years

This place really is a gem. We were welcomed from the moment we arrived and really enjoyed spending 11 nights in a temple compound with our family of five. The rooms are very clean, well furnished in Japanese style. Also, the kitchen is fully equipped and we were surprised to be offered towel and linen changes several times during our stay, as well as free water from a water station and coffee/juices at the coffee bar next to the temple. The coffee bar also offers absolutely amazing food and warm, passionate service. The entire staff was so caring that we all felt at home. There was nothing we missed. The kids loved the bikes and on rainy days we spent a lot of time inside and felt very comfortable thanks to the amount of space available. We highly recommend this accomodation.

The contact in advance was quick and polite, and I was able to travel with peace of mind. Communication to the center of Kagawa and Okayama was also smooth, and it was a very convenient and nice location as a base.Let me use it again!

Highly recommended. Yuka was a great host. The place is private and spacious with every amenity you will need. Lots of toys for our toddler. It was a bit cold in the house in Jan/Feb but did have heating. The beds and futons were very comfortable.

We had a friendly host family. House is clean. He farmed broccoli and brought us broccoli! It was a delicious broccoli. He also gave me gochujang. It's in the countryside, so you may be bored, but there are also restaurants nearby. You can also rent a bicycle if you want.

Super close to the JR station. We were looking for a quiet place for this part of our Japan trip and this house and this town met our needs 100%. The house had both options of Japanese style bed (futon) or western beds. The host made our stay very confortable. We were even allowed to borrow their bicycles. We will definitely stay here again if we stop by Kotohira again.

I wanted to visit the Konpira Palace on my first trip to Kanpira, so I visited this place near the road. The room was beautifully organized and the scent of trees was soothing. The owner was very kind and helpful. They also gave us local recommendations for places, all of which added value to our trip. It's a place you want to go again!

There was a pet-friendly environment, close to sightseeing spots, and the location was perfect.The check-in method was a little difficult, but the host handled me politely on the phone, so I had a comfortable stay.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about traveling with pets.
