Great place, as described.

Marion was an all around lovely host, very generous with her time and willing to help out with anything no matter how small. We arrived in Ribeira Grande earlier than 3pm due to checking out from another airbnb in Ponta Delgado and Marion was able and willing to allow us an earlier check-in. The airbnb is on a farm land with many animals, I encountered 3 beautiful older dogs, 3 cats, a few ducks and more! Amazing place for the animal lover. Marion had many great recommendations and connected us with her son in law, who was able to give us a private full day tour of my mother's hometown. This meant a lot for us since we did not have access to a car! Happy to recommend Marion and her Quinta for your stay in Ribeira Grande, you'll love it here.

The accommodations were private and peaceful. There was a beautiful creek running nearby which you can hear most of the time. The rooms were spacious. The fireplace kept the place cozy, however, it was the only source of heat so we did find it chilly when it wasn't lit (e.g. in the mornings). It could be a chore to start a fire every evening and the room occasionally smelled like smoke, but it was handy for drying wet boots and clothing. Not as much of an issue in the summer months I would imagine. Overall, the place was a great value for the week and we enjoyed staying there. The host was friendly and available if needed.

We loved our stay at Fatima’s place. Beautiful surroundings (both a forest and sea view) and close walk to the natural pools. Fatima was a wonderful host and was very quick to answer any questions we had. Her husband even helped us make a BBQ outside! Very cute village and quiet and lovely surroundings. We were staying with our baby and there was a comfortable crib and high chair provided. Would highly recommend!!

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed!! The island is already breathtaking but the location of the home, the view, and the pool made our experience on Pico even better. Ana and Benedita have been super accommodating and allowed me to change the dates during the pandemic. I finally was able to visit after two years and it was well worth the wait! If you are on the fence you need to book this stay. They also own a couple restaurants on the island, i highly recommend going to Magma for a nice meal overlooking the ocean!

We had a great time in this lovely little house. It is actually two small apartments (studios) but well partitioned. The view is beautiful.

At Casa Da Burra, you quickly feel at home. This is one of the best Air bnb homes I've had the opportunity to test. The photographs published on the site only reflect the beauty and tranquility of the house, nicely decorated in the spirit of yesteryear with accumulated objects from generation to generation. The conservation of the empty pigs and the rehabilitation of the stable ( where the donkeys were) in the living room allow a crossing into the history of this place. Above all, Jose and his son were responsive, incredibly kind. There were groceries provided for our arrival. They had even thought of our daughter by planning small Swiss. One of our favorite Airbnbs ever. Carolina was incredibly welcoming, the space was quite comfortable, the location was convenient, and the pineapple plantation tour was an added bonus. We absolutely loved our stay!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Beautiful home with many amenities. There is a gazebo out back with a lovely view and a nice place to sit and relax with a glass of wine. Airbnb had a “different” address for directions and Pedro was very helpful and patient with helping us find the place. He answered any questions we had and went above and beyond with his communications. The place is located in a very quaint little village with very friendly people! I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Very nice, clean and comfy little house. We enjoyed our stay. Only the road leading to the house is quite adventurous.

A fully renovated farmhouse with high quality materials. Very comfy beds. Accessible banana garden. Beautiful country trails. Rental 5 min from all services. Bucolic setting. Songs of birds and roosters. Vila Franca do Campo is an IDEAL destination: in a week we were able to catch them all from the island, thanks to the location of the casa. Around the airport too. Outdoor terrace perfect for breakfasts. Great outdoor shower after the beach.

I had an incredible time at Gigi house! From the moment I arrived, Gigi was super welcoming and made me feel right at home. The place was even better than the pictures – the sunsets need to be lived, it was perfect for chilling out after a day of exploring, and the had everything we needed. The pool and the sauna are TOP! The place was spotless and super comfy. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and I loved the little touches like the welcome basket. All in all, I can’t wait to come back!

Dario's place was clean and as described. He was a responsive host, he allowed us to check in a touch early as our flight arrived early in the day. After the weather got cool the host made sure to check in to see if we needed anything. The location is great for visiting the island it is central and not to far from PDL. Due to the humidity of the island there is a dehumidifier that needs to be on at all times, even so when using the washing machine some of our clothes took multiple days to hang dry (there is no dryer). Be weary of the humidity of the island (obviously no fault of the host). the space was large and we would stay here again.

What a beautiful property and view from the house. The host was very responsive and friendly. We had such a great time seeing all the animals on the property ( horses, sheep, ducks, chickens, cats ). The view from the house was one of my favorite views on our trip. Check-in was easy and check-out as well. We had such a great time and would stay again . The decorations were beautiful and every detail was considered when creating this space.

Duarte was the perfect host. He went above and beyond. I had arrived in Lajes and not planned my layover correctly so I was a bit stuck at the airport. I messaged Duarte to ask about an earlier check in and he was on his way to personally pick me up from the airport within ten minutes. He gave me a tour of his wonderful nature reserve and gave multiple options for my room as it was low season. He then gave me a ride to the grocery store and helped me pick fresh produce right from his garden. I had lunch with his adorable cats in the most peaceful setting. And then Duarte was there to drop me back off at the airport. An all round wonderful experience, I only wish I had stayed longer to see more of the island.

Very nice local house, has everything necessary inside. Host was very friendly and gave lots of local recommendations. House is located in quite neighbourhood with some beautiful views. Perfect if you travel by car, because makes good staring point to explore eastern part of the island.

Petra and Georg are interesting and great hosts,more/ sea of it, the location is exciting and relaxed. I had plenty of time to arrive and experience. Habt All a good time ☺️

Very nice apartment in a great area. Close to the beach and walking distance to downtown. The view from the apartment is beautiful!

Jose's house was perfect for this retired couple who likes quiet surroundings and lots of hiking. The view from the sunroom with lots of seating was amazing. You can access hiking trails and the shuttle to Lagoa do Fogo by walking from the house. Good restaurants and groceries are within a short drive. If you spend the day out exploring further reaches of the island, Jose's house is the perfect comfortable place to relax after a long day.

We fully agree with all the superlatives in previous reviews: luxurious house at the foot of the forest with breathtaking view of the ocean. Very private and very well maintained. Our children who were studying for exams during the stay pronounced the WIFI excellent and were thankful the house had a separate room with a big desk where one could study, paint, etc. The wooden fire is easy to light and ample wood is provided. The AC wall-heaters provide additional, more than sufficient, heat in case you consider renting as us in late December. The host Jorge was extremely responsive from start to finish. We have stayed at quite a lot of places via airbnb and could say with confidence Jorge’s hospitality was unprecedented. Such a nice person! We have never been to the Açores and Terceira before but after spending 10 days here believe Biscoitos is the best location, especially for people who like hiking, nature and appreciate home cooking in family restaurants! Recommended 100%!

The house and garden are lovingly maintained and beautiful. Helena+ Felix were perfect hosts and pampered us with homemade cakes, fresh fruit, etc. I would like to award more than 5 points.

We had a great, relaxing week in Hugo's apartment. Pool and hot tub were great, especially for the kids. The apartment was very well maintained. View of the sea great, opportunities for swimming in the sea within walking distance. We highly recommend Airbnb!

Beautiful and unique Villa in a peaceful setting minutes from Furnas center . Easy walk to Furnas Lake . More like an upscale eco resort with hotel amenities with than an airbnb . So glad we stayed here rather than at the 4 star hotels in town.
