Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Bacalar Lagoon

We had a great stay here with our family of five. The apartment was as described and very comfortable and clean. When we needed to contact the host, Federica was incredibly quick and helpful. The pool was lovely too and cleaned frequently. Would definitely recommend

The location was perfect just blocks away from the market, lake and Centro. Easy to walk everywhere. Pool was excellent and very clean. I stayed a month and loved everything about it.

Hosts were very responsive and accommodating, even when I locked myself out of the room 🫣😄. The neighborhood is quiet but still in walking distance to the city center zocalo. Very simple accommodation, great for a couple nights.

The room and building were spotless, comfortable and clean there were some elements of the room not found, however upon requesting them from the host he facilitated them. The parking space was always full so the vehicle we rented was left in some houses. We would have liked to have a little more storage area as only one closet drawer was available. We opted for this accommodation for the design since its location is not very favorable, but it is at the same cost as other accommodations facing the lagoon, although it is close to the lagoon, the climate so hot does not make walking that distance that if it makes the car very necessary. If you decide to go out little and enjoy the accommodation, it's ideal.

We had an amazing stay at this AirBNB with our little dog as well. The apartment is great, with everything you need and the pool is also awesome and always well maintained and cleaned. The host is super responsive and sharing great local recommendations. We didn't have a hair dryer and they brought one up right away. The shower head was leaking weirdly and they quickly changed it for a brand new one. Very proactive. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful spot right on the lake. We had to get a few things like more water and garbage bags but other than that it was lovely. Very private and the huge tree was great for shade. Lots of birds and iguanas hanging around.

The stay was very pleasant, the layout of the rooms allowed my family and I to have a great time, Nadime is super friendly and as soon as we arrived at night she was ready for our arrival and welcomed us at the door of the accommodation, we are very grateful to her and without a doubt when I return to Chetumal Nanis' house will be my first option

We had a wonderful stay. The villa, although small, is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxed stay. The development has few houses and although there is a lot of glass, the distribution is well planned so that no house looks in front of another, so you never feel exposed. The common pool is very nice, but undoubtedly the most valuable is the proximity to the lagoon, with exclusive access for guests and residents. Only a 5 minute walk (approx. 400 meters); yes, access is downhill, with well-formed steps, but can be tricky for people with low mobility. The dock is small, no palapa, but the nearby trees offer just the necessary shade. The host is simply the best: attentive, quick to respond, and always willing to help, even with things beyond her control. It is definitely a gem. We are leaving to return soon. Highly recommend this place. 10/10

New and spectacular house a few minutes from beach clubs, Bacalar downtown and new Mayan train station. The house is distinguished by having many rooms with bathroom included, large spaces for coexistence and a super nice and practical kitchen. It's a great option if you're driving. If you do not have a car you will have to walk 20-30 minutes to be in the lagoon or downtown Bacalar.

Staying at this home in Bacalar was such a special experience—it truly felt like a little sanctuary. The house itself is absolutely stunning: every corner was thoughtfully designed, aesthetically gorgeous, and filled with charm and warmth. It had such a peaceful, elevated vibe that made it hard to leave. The location was also perfect—just a short distance from the lagoon, but tucked away enough to feel calm and private. What made the stay even more amazing was the responsiveness and kindness of the hosts. They were quick to help with any questions or small issues that came up and even went above and beyond by helping me find a local swimming teacher, which made my stay even more memorable. If you’re looking for a beautiful, serene home base in Bacalar that feels curated and cared for, this is the one. I’d return in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved this place. The house was more beautiful and special in person. We were really immersed in the jungle, so many big windows! It was simple and elegant. The lighting is amazing. The kitchen was great, we cooked a lot. The dock, kayaks, etc all perfect. This is such an amazing spot. We saw a coati, so many birds and butterflies, fish, insects (one scorpion, but they're not so dangerous). We REALLY appreciated how environmentally friendly this house is, and how many ways we were gently reminded to care for our surroundings. The caretaker was great, too. The water on the north end of the lake has lost its color due to humans, or so we were told, but kayaking was still great, and further south you'll find the colors. It seems like the lake can recover its color, so please, no lotions or sunscreens or bug spray or makeup when you swim. Don't take shells or snails. Be so gentle with this incredible, unique place. A million times better than the beach, we'll return.
