Holiday rentals in Bairro Alto, Margueira

My three kids and I stayed only one night because it was convenient to the airport. It is a lovely home with lots of space, comfortable beds and furniture and a good washing machine. It’s in a very modern neighborhood.

We had a wonderful time in Sofia's apartment! The description and photos matched the apartment perfectly! The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The washer/dryer was very convenient. Sofia had great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. There was a market close to the apartment and also many restaurants. We walked up and down the hilly streets to many of the beautiful sights in Lisbon. A lot of fun. We would definitely recommend Sofia's apartment and would come back to her our apartment on our next visit!

What a great location in a very nice, quiet residential area, yet so close to everything. Situated midway between downtown Lisbon and Casçais, this really is the best of both worlds. Great for exercise as the apartment is very close to the beach and coastal walkway, also close to extensive public garden areas and the historic Palácio Marquês De Pombal and associated gardens. Easy access to Lisbon and Casçais by local train (10 mins walk way), or driving via the scenic Avenida Marginal coastal road (almost as fast, and a lot calmer, than via the highway). A great spot from which to explore the Lisbon region.

This was an excellent stay. Very clean, cozy and private apartment with great amenities and we loved the outdoor patio. We had some issues with the WiFi, a broken sprinkler and a few ants in the kitchen but nothing to prevent this from being a 5/5 Airbnb.

John & Rose’s place was perfect for our Lisbon stay. My wife, our 1-year-old, and I loved its central location—just a 5-minute walk to Jardim da Estrela, where our daughter could play while we enjoyed a glass of wine. The neighborhood is ideal for families, with markets and conveniences nearby. Although the apartment is small, it was just what we needed in the heart of Lisbon. Highly recommend for young families. What a gem of an apartment! So charming and lovingly decorated, so many cute details. This apartment is like a treasure chest. You are super central, the tips (see photos) of Inês and Antonio are great, we tried everything!!👍🏻 We will definitely visit again! Upon our arrival we were a little early and Inês and her family were so friendly that we could already store our suitcases. On the day of our departure, Inês was so nice to order us a taxi at the front door. If you want to experience Lisbon, we wholeheartedly recommend this place. We were there with our sons (12&14) and they were happy about their own room... Thank you so much dear Inês and dear Antonio!🌞

Great value for money. The place has gorgeous views, surrounded by both nice Portuguese restaurants but also other types of cuisines. Close to groceries and nice cafes/bakeries. Carlos was super responsive and kind. we had some last minute and usual requests and Carlos was very accommodating with all of them. Would book again! 5*

my parents and i had a lovely stay here. absolutely perfect location still close to everything you need. check in was easy and the apartment was clean. would recommend to anyone!
