This exceeded our expectations and it will be our first choice every time we return to the island to visit my husband’s family. Everyone was so kind and the apartment was perfect. I recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise down by the water with a coffee!

An amazing little spot next to the ocean! The balcony was private and had amazing views. The restaurant upstairs was very convenient and had great food. The owner stopped and talked to us at the restaurant and was very helpful and friendly. Wish we would’ve stayed longer!

Our stay was fantastic! The house was spacious and well stocked. We had everything we needed for the 7 of us. Very walkable area with plenty to do. Loved sitting out on the front deck to do some people (and dog) watching. The outdoor shower was a huge plus when coming up from the beach! We had such a great and relaxing time!

We wanted a remote place with a beautiful view and this met all of our expectations. It is not in a huge tourist filled area- more nature filled, small town, local area. All of John’s recommendations for dining were excellent. Our favorite was El Gallo Pinto by far! I think Chef Gordon Ramsey snuck in and cooked for us it was that good! If you’re looking for hotel lined streets and big city life, I would go elsewhere. But if you’re looking for an escape from all of that, here’s your place. Recommend following directions in “getting there” and put “Casa Manatee” in Google maps versus address. Putting the address was a slight mistake. It got us in the vicinity but only by putting the house name did we get exact directions.

10/10 would recommend, this place was AMAZING! We stayed there for almost a week and had something new to do every day! The amenities were perfect - from pickle ball to ping pong, learning how to play dominos, the beautiful private pool! - fully equipped closet with all games imaginable - beautiful pool with pool toys, bathroom right by it and a fridge to stay hydrated with cold beverages - the rooms are well spread out and perfect for a family trip or a group of friends, it’s so spacious and seriously has everything one can dream of - last but not least Hector was amazing, he was so responsive (even though it was Thanksgiving!!!) he was always ready to help if we needed it.

The home was exactly as advertised. Amazing home with fantastic views and stunning decor throughout, couldn’t have wanted anything more. Jose was great with recommendations and quick with responses to this new travelers questions! 10/10 would say here again.

Casa Wurster was a great place for our family vacation. We had a group of 9 (2 families), and we had plenty of space. The house was great, with spacious bedrooms, and 3 total full bathrooms. The kitchen was spacious and great for our group. The highlight of this house was the pool out back. It was the perfect size, heated, and clean. The kids spent many hours in this pool. The shaded patio out back by the pool was awesome, and included a bathroom, refrigerator, and sink. Perfect place to hang out for the afternoon, and not have to keep going into the house all wet. The overall property was also great, including a pickleball court, basketball hoop, and hiking up to the top of the property with amazing views. The property is right next to a main road along the coast. On weekends, that road is quite busy and loud, with a lot of local traffic and loud music. The private beach access was not useful, as it was pretty rocky, and very windy and wavy.

I never do reviews but we love this place so much they deserve it. The hospitality is a A+. All staff is supper responsive with any questions via email, text or call and very clean. The view from the balcony of beach bliss is breathtaking from sun rise to sun set. It is also a must to go to the mountain lookout for the stunning sun set.
